Previously known as Keith Gunn Electrical, we have been providing first-class, quality electrical services in Edinburgh for over 30 years and have recently expanded to Glasgow where we offer the same great electrical services. Very efficient service. Two engineers came to do annual PAT and five year EICR report. Very friendly and knowledgeable engineers backed up by good management. Arrived on time and completed work as agreed. Will be using again.

The firm did various electrical work on my more than 200 years old terraced house. This included carrying out EICR, supplying & installing consumer unit to replace DB1, replacing light in stairwell, converting several single sockets to double, working on faulty light switch and light and installing earth bonding to water pipe. Additionally sorting problems with outside light, bathroom fan, supplying and installing fuses, etc.
From the first contact, the staff were friendly and responsive, offering advice and information. The work was carried out with minimum of disruption and looked immaculate. The electrician asked if more was required and explained things clearly.
Finally, I was very impressed by the strong emphasis on ensuring that the work done and the electricity in the house were secure and complied with current regulations. Every aspect of the electricity was investigated and tested. Electricity is a mystery to many consumers and trust in a firm is important.

Absolutely delighted with the service! Scott was super accommodating with our very tight timeline & managed to dispatch an electrician within 24 hours. Stephen was super professional & efficient. They managed to turn out the EIC report that I needed for planning completion even faster than promised. Just delighted with how helpful they both were. Highly recommend!

Excellent service from booking job with knowledgable receptionist to actually having the work done. There was a deadline and the manager managed to fit everything in with two engineers carrying out work. Delighted that engineers found a route to require cables with out raggling walls! I had two electrical works carried out. (1) Lights fitted to the kick board in my kitchen units. (2) Additional lights added to my lounge shelf and storage unit.
I was absolutely delighted with all the electrical work, the price was reasonable given the amount of work involved. The estimator and the electrician were professional, knowledgeable and the work was carried out to a high standard in a reasonable time period.
The company who built my lounge unit and added the original electrical work ceased trading several years ago. And over the last three to four years I've asked numerous electricians if they could add extra lighting, all either declined or did not reply after visiting me. I never imagined that I would find a company willing to do the work. The end results exceeded my expectations and I would have no hesitation in recommending Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions or using them again for future electrical work.

I used Keith Gunn to carry out an EICR. A previous contractor had failed my EICR but they couldn’t do the remedial work in time for when I needed it, which left me in a difficult spot. Keith Gunn reassured me they could get the job done in time, which they did - and obviously did a better job because they spotted a couple of things the previous contractor missed. They carried out the remedial work and issued my certificate quickly. Their customer service is excellent - they were very quick to respond to my emails and the electrician that attended my flat left everything as he found it. Can highly recommend!

Shower cord and box replaced, inspection and EICR remedial works completed. Great company, very friendly and efficient right thought the whole process from contacting them, organising appointments, carrying out the work and billing. It is very rare to find this, communication was excellent and timely.

Once to upgrade all fire & carbon dioxide alarms , to check water damage issues from tenants & change three light fittings . Prompt , efficient , fuss & mess free . 10/10 . A number of lighting units had to be replaced due to age and condition. From getting a quote to the work being carried out was less than a week. The work was carried out very professionally and courteously with minimum disruption and the standard of cleanliness after the work was carried out was excellent.

This is the second 5-yearly EICR that Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions have carried out in a flat that I own and rent out in Edinburgh. On this occasion, a fault was detected in part of the ring main circuit, for which a reasonably priced quote to find the cause and rectify it was accepted. The necessary works were carried out shortly afterwards and a new certificate of compliance issued - providing myself and my tenants greater peace of mind in terms of electrical safety. I find Keith Gunn's management and staff to be prompt, concise and polite in their communications, their services reasonably priced and they're happy to speak directly with tenants to help move matters forward. In my experience, they're a well-organised and professional company.
