We have been providing first-class, quality electrical services in Edinburgh for over 30 years and have recently expanded to Glasgow where we offer the same great electrical services. We have now used Keith Gunn for 7/8 years. Initially they rewired our flat - and came to the rescue when a phone charger burned out, throwing the fuses.
More recently - the jobs the costs refer to - they have installed the essential smoke alarms etc and replaced old style lights in the hallway of the flat.
We have always been impressed by all aspects of their work - from initial contact to prompt arrival and neat tidy work. Their employees are always pleasant!

My new cooker was delivered 10 days early. I booked KGES promptly to install. At first this was 24 hours later, however KGES were able to move this forward to a couple hours after my initial call. The Electrician was prompt, polite, professional. The install was completed quickly after testing existing connections. After connecting, the cooker was fully tested. He detailed when the invoice would be received, and how to finalise payment. From start to finish, everything was made clear - more importantly all promises were kept and to a high standard. This was a small and urgent job, and KGES have proven themselves to be reliable and honest - and if I need an electrician again KGES will be my first call.

We needed a quick check done on kitchen lights and circuit board following a leak. Our enquiry was handled in a friendly manner by their office and the electrician turned up on time. He was courteous and professional and explained what he was looking for and checked everything as required.

I would highly recommend using Keith Gunn Electrical solutions. All the staff are really pleasant and everything was professional and ran smoothly from start to finish. A manager came to our office to survey and quote and nothing seemed a problem to him which was positive. Then an electrician came to ensure all the electrics had appropriate readings to be able to carry out the light installations, and despite a few problems with our old electrics, he managed to resolve them effectively. The electrician who arrived the next day was also punctual and friendly and carried out the work neatly and efficiently. I will definitely use their services in future. A breath of fresh air indeed compared to other companies I've used before.

Easy to arrange ( in person ), agreeable quotation with conditions. Appointment sheduled for work to be completed following week.
Electrician arrived 30 minutes early ( a good sign ), Keith Gunn's office is local.
Work completed - including resetting the solar clock - within 90 minutes. No extras, cost was as quoted.
The electrician and the staff in the office were polite and professional.

Four double sockets installed.
Very communicative and responsive - no hanging about for days waiting for a reply, unlike some others. The engineers were very professional, friendly and polite, and took time to fully explain what they were doing. Very neat job and they left the place tidy. Paperwork was clear and arrived promptly. Great service.

Lighting fused upstairs, leaving a switch live. The electrician from Keith Gunn was able to come quickly, identified the problem and made it safe until the remedial work could be done. I was informed about what was needed, the work was completed on time and as agreed. They tidied up after themselves too. I would recommend this firm.
