We woke up to no heat or hot water on a weekend and needed a call-out. CityWide Gas Services got back to us quickly and provided professional and courteous service. Also helpful that they're very familiar with Vaillant boilers. Would definitely recommend and use again!

The work was carried out promptly and efficiently. Extremely happy with the service and the quality of the work.

I asked John , who came recommended to look at my leaking boiler .
He came out later at night and examined the work needing done .
Off his own back he discovered part of my boiler was under warrantee and as a result all of the work was undertaken by Worcester Bosch . He did not charge me and made nothing out of his good will .
I have never met such a helpful and honest plumber - would look nowhere else in future .

Woke up on the Sunday before Christmas to find our boiler wasn't working. Disaster! However, having looked at the reviews for John at Citywide Gas Service, I rang him up straightaway. He said he could come out that afternoon which was perfect. John phoned, as promised, before he arrived to let us know he was coming. When he arrived he got straight on with the job, cleared the blockage and checked the boiler was working without leaks. He was an excellent workman and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Had to call out citywide gas to fix an issue with my bedroom radiator. Came out quickly and great service. Very professional and would highly recommend.

New combi boiler system installed.

Call was made to City Wide Gas after the gas board condemned our old boiler at 8am in a cold December morning. John was fantastic and after we explained we had a 4 month old baby he ensured us he would be out that day, which he was.

The following week our new system was installed at a very reasonable price. We now have instant hot water and thermostat heating!

John was super knowledgable and went over our boiler system options with us.

Would certainly use City Wide Gas for any gas and heating services in the future.

Citywide Gas Services/John was recommended to me by a friend. John has fitted a new boiler for me in my previous flat and in my current home fixed our boiler when it brokedown recently. He got to us really quickly and as we needed new parts he managed to do a work around to keep the boiler working while we waited for parts to arrive. This was during the cold snap so really appreciative to him for doing that. He is extremely efficient, professional and tidy. He has always done a great job so much so I've recommended him to various other friends and neighbours. Really friendly and really trustworthy. I hope to always be able to use Citywide Gas Services in any future work I have.

Replacement of a 15+ year old boiler with a new Worcester boiler. Some pipes also needed replaced. New radiators were installed and old ones taken away. Extra time and work was taken to pin these cast iron radiators to the walls.

This is the 2nd time I have used John and I am glad that I have used his services again. He is very honest and professional with his work. Thanks once again!

I phoned Citywide Gas Services last week at 9:30pm as we had a leak coming from our toilet (which was being renovated by a different company).
Johnny answered straight away (despite being on a day off) and offered to FaceTime with me so that I could show him the problem.
Johnny offered free advice and reassurance, which meant that we could go to bed without worrying that the leak might get worse.
It’s not often that you find people like this who genuinely want to help and it was very much appreciated.
We will definitely use Citywide Gas Services in the future.

Absolutely First Class service from John and Citywide Gas Services.
I required some flue remedials and also a service, on my Vaillant boiler installation. John showed clear knowledge of the issues involved and took time to explain them to me. He was a pleasure to deal with.
I would have no hesitation in using Citywide Gas Services again, or recommending them to others.

Back in 2020, when renovating ex-HMO for us, John and his team has piped and installed 9 radiators, installed new combi boiler together with new drainage. Installed new 1 toilet and fixed faulty 2nd one (and probably some more work I don't remember).
Since then he has been faultless in supporting us with every perceived issue (e.g. I have mismanaged valves on the boiler when going on holiday causing boiler to lose pressure - he managed to figure out issue and address it over a phone)
Everything he has worked on has been fault-free (2025)
This year was the first time he took any money for servicing the boiler - which still looks as good as new.
To top it all up he also has a great personality. It was a pleasure to work with him.
