Absolutely Brilliant!! John was punctual, professional & highly knowledgable, furthermore I asked for the gas fire to be serviced on arrival which was no problem! The service was delivered in a polite and pleasant manner start to finish...cannot fault. Would highly recommend.

Citywide Gas installed a full new central heating system with 4 new radiators in our top floor flat. Great communication, highly skilled and very friendly, we are absolutely thrilled with the finished result. I've had ongoing problems with my aged central heating system despite replacement of (old) radiators installed 5 years ago. Two 5*-rated engineers made a decent effort to find a solution, but failed to improve the performance of my downstairs radiators (the upstairs were fine) despite repeated attempts to unblock the (8mm) microbore pipes. I was ready to accept replacement of 12mm pipes as the only credible remedy.
Enter John of Citywide Gas Services. He spent considerable time (at no cost) trying to identify the core problem and, as a first step, recommended replacement of the original pump which he thought was unusually hot. I accepted his recommendation.
True to his word, John replaced the pump one week later and, after another 3 days, all blockages were cleared and the radiators are as hot as I could wish for. PS I've still got the original Potterton boiler, which John agreed I should keep as long as possible. Thanks, John!

John recently installed a new boiler for me after discussing and recommending a couple that would be suitable for my needs and property. The installation went smoothly, on time and in budget. John and Chris patiently answered my many questions, nothing was too much trouble. He was also great at communicating with me before the job, keeping me up to date with arrival times, costs etc.
He also fitted a new kitchen tap and gave me some thoughts on updating my bathroom, which I had asked about. I will be asking John back to carry out this work in future. Thanks for a great job, carried out without issue!

I recently had an issue with my boiler as it was old and costing a fortune to constantly repair, A friend of mine used Citywide Gas Services and recommended them to me. When I called and spoke to John and explained the issues I was having he said he would come and repair it for me. He was on time which is unuasl for tradesmen, so I was pleasantly surprised.
He was very efficient and well mannered and explained that he could fix the boiler no problem. He carried out all the work on time and at a very good price. I would not hesitate to recommend him to or use him again. Very good engineer and tradesman.

As an Architect with 20 years experience in the construction industry, I understand how difficult it can be to find a quality tradesman and I would have no hesitation in using John again or recommending to a friend.

The flame failed to ignite in our Ariston boiler just as the weather was getting cold. John from Citywide was able to come the same day, unlike the other gas companies we called. He approached diagnosing the problem methodically, first checking and cleaning the contacts of the ignition electrode before finding the source of the problem - a small blockage in the air inlet pipe. He charged a basic hour of time - which was just over half the call out charge requested by another company - including doing all the safety checks needed for the coming winter. Very impressed by John's manner and approach and delighted to have the boiler working again on the same day - which he told me they always try to do if at all possible. Highly recommended.
