John fitted a new boiler very efficiently for us in just one day. Very knowledgeable and professional, and he explains all the options and what is happening through the process. We've just had the free one year service for the boiler, and again a great job. Thoroughly recommended.

I contacted citywide gas services due to the 5 star reviews on trust a trader, if there was 6 stars I would give these guys that!

Over the last year or so we have had trouble with our boiler system not being in full working order, call outs to insurance boiler cover never really sorted the issue, pump replaced but house still never as warm as it should be, the previous engineers never seemed to get to the route of the problem and insisted the system be power flushed (it seems a cop out) John & his team were straightforward in word and actions, talked me through what they thought was wrong with the system and how they were going to go about it to fix it, this was not an easy job to fix with our boiler being as old as the house (30 years) I knew straight away I could trust citywide to get to the bottom of the problem.
The guys worked hard all day and delivered, our house is now hotter than its ever been!!
I would not hesitate to recommend citywide to family & friends and know who to use in future for any heating services.

I am so grateful to Citywide Gas Services for coming out to my flat during these strange Covid-19 times. I was left with no hot water or heating with a 10 week old baby in the house after the emergency gas people capped my meter and left us like that. Citywide understood the seriousness and came out to me within two hours. It means so much that they were happy to do a job, putting their own safety aside, at a time most others help others had stopped working.

I was looking for a new boiler and l wasn’t to sure what l was actually needing or how to go about it all really. I had spoken to a few company’s got quotes etc but always felt they sounded to good to be true or just didn’t seem professional. I just didn’t want unexpected cost etc.

So l was recommended City Wide Gas Services. So l called them and arranged a visit got a quote and l was so happy with the price and what l was told l could also get services every year and call outs if needed.
They just seemed to put there customers first. I’m warm and happy l couldn’t recommend these guys anymore.

When I tried to find an emergency plumber to fix a water leak at the weekend John was the only one who said he could come. He arrived early Sunday morning and completed the job. Friendly, professional and fairly priced service - I'd happily use him again

We called Citywide Gas Services to fix an issue with our Vaillant EcoTec boiler. John was able to fix our problem within three days. He was friendly and reachable throughout the period. He provided helpful advice for us and tested our boiler for safety and performance after fixing it. Highly professional and would recommend.

We had been having trouble getting radiators on top floor working, and then hot water packed in. As noted in other reviews, Citywide Gas Services (John May) came very promptly and at a time that suited us perfectly. He also confirmed eta etc. He sorted the immediate problem and advised on a more long-standing issue. He also checked that the repair had worked before invoicing. Impressive.

My very old boiler broke down for the last time and I was in desperate need of a replacement, I had family coming to visit over the weekend so John came out promptly and gave me a cost on the spot and worked day and night to install the new boiler so I had heating and hot water in time for our gusts arriving. As for his work I couldn’t fault him i thought it was going to be a really messy job but he left the place spotless every day. Can’t thank you enough John.

Well presented and efficient, and explained everything as he went ,wasn't the easiest of boiler changes but nothing was a problem couldn't recommend highly enough .

I spoke to John and the team and they were polite and helpful. The team were actually able to squeeze me in that afternoon and take a good look at my dying boiler. They managed to offer a part and install the very next day! I was somewhat lucky with timings but still very happy with the work provided. Definitely comfortable using the company again. I could not fault the service I received by the gentleman who came to repair my boiler. He was efficient and knew his stuff . I was also rather surprised by how cheap he was as i had a few quotes by two other companies as he was by far the cheapest. I will certainly be using this company again . Five star rating all round.

John repaired a leak and fitted new taps in my bathroom.

Having phoned John out of the blue with a leak in my bathroom he turned up very quick and fixed the problem in no time.
