Had a new combi boiler fitted. This company are very reliable and trustworthy. They arrive when they say they will, do the job efficiently with a minimum of upheaval and leave the place clean and tidy. They keep in touch and make sure everything is done the way you want. They are hard workers and are willing to go that extra mile. You can feel comfortable with their employees in your home. Would definitely recommend them.

I had seven radiators and a toilet rail installed. I was very satisfied with work carried out over two days without too much upheaval. I would highly recommend Gillies technical services for this type of work and would not hesitate to use for any future heating or plumbing work.

The annual boiler service was due to be carried out but unfortunately once the engineer looked at the boiler and decided it was not in a fit state to be serviced or repaired and recommend a new boiler would be required. As the service was not carried out there was no charge. I decided to go ahead with a replacement. I recieved a costing within 24 hours. A date was agreed for the work to be carried out. On the day of the installation an engineer arrived at the agreed time and started on the prep work, a few minutes later a second engineer arrived. The work was carried out efficiently within the day. The engineers laid out floor coverings but made no mess. I was shown how to operate the remote digital temperature and timings. The engineer set the control to the desired levels.
This is the second time I've used Gillies services and have been impressed with the quality of work and would recommend Gillies services for any gas works required.

As soon as I heard that Steve was back in business I didn't hesitate to go back to him for servicing my boiler - which was good as I had to have a new one installed fairly soon after. I have also used their other services for electrical and plumbing, managed by his business partner, Steve McKillop. I am sure I could search for cheaper prices and get various quotes, but the quality of service, reliability and the personal touch is far more important. They go out of their way to deliver a good service.

I moved into my house a couple of years ago and it had a very old boiler. Gillies Technical Services advised a new boiler, but I didn't have the money at the time. Although not a boiler they use, they serviced it and ensured it was safe. Last winter my old boiler started making noises, and I knew it was time to look into a replacement! I contacted the company and Steven came out the next day to go through different options of boilers. There was no 'hard sell', just honesty about different products. I decided to go for a Worcester Bosch combi. They have a great payment plan option too, so you can still get the best boiler that's in your price range. We arranged that the installation would take place 3 days later, which was perfect for me. The guys on site were really nice and everything was explained properly. The house was left as if no one had been here, very clean & tidy workers. They had to remove an old inlet pipe on my exterior wall and this was filled and same colour stone put back on so you can't tell it was ever there.
I wanted to get a hive system as well, which I discussed after installation. They got back to me within 24 hours with cost etc....and it was fitted a day later.
I would not hesitate to recommend this local business. Their service, products and customer service/aftercare is second to none.
