A huge thank you to Gareth and his team for going above and beyond. Removing the overgrown ivy was a massive job, but they worked incredibly hard and never cut corners. They then installed a beautiful, exceptionally high-quality fence that has completely transformed my garden.

The workmanship, attention to detail and quality are second to none. Gareth and his team were fantastic from start to finish — hardworking, professional and genuinely committed to doing an amazing job.

I am absolutely delighted with the result. Our garden looks incredible, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 1st Fencing & Decking to anyone. First-class company and first-class workmanship! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had very old eroded bricks replaced on 3 corners of my house. The difference is night and day. John on the ball with communications, turned up when he said he would, worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after the job was complete. I am really impressed with the new brickwork. John certainly knows his stuff and I would recommend him for any building work. Fair price for the job too.

Graham came out and quoted for the works when he said he would. The price was agreed in advance and put in writing. No money was paid until the job was completed and we were happy.

The team arrived promptly on the agreed date. Unfortunately the weather caused the job to run over by a few days, but the team did not rush to get the job complete. They took their time and stayed until the job was fully completed to our satisfaction.

Graham was happy to answer some questions during the job and kept us regularly up to date with their progress.

The team were friendly and courteous and once the job was complete, they left everything clean and tidy.

Neil and his colleague did a couple of jobs at my Mum’s house. Small jobs for them but important for my Mum. Dealt with with no fuss. Second time they have helped us and will use again.

Really happy with the work carried out. Both Raymond and Garry were both professional, reliable, and so helpful when there were issues with the supplier and offered a lot of great advice. Would highly recommend and will absolutely use again!

John fitted a heat alarm and two smoke alarms. He explained how these were interlinked and worked, leaving very clear written information for me to refer to and pass on. He was both efficient and friendly .

I cannot comment on value as i did not pay for this nor arrange it (but this site made me). But John did the job quickly and neatly and considerately, and it was a pleasure to meet him as well. Always a relief with a stranger in your home to find he is personable and you feel comfortable. He also explained everything clearly and well. Thank you John!
