Thermal imaging survey completed today by Trevor who was extremely professional, put me at ease, explained the whole process and what was would happen from beginning to end. I got so much more information than I expected from this survey; how my heating works and how to use it more effectively to heat my house economically, where I lose heat and most importantly that my home does not need cavity wall insulation! I have saved £000's by having my survey done and learned more than I could have imagined. I needed a Hive system installed. After being let down by one trader I got in touch with Lee. He communicated well, told me where the system was on offer if I still needed to buy it, and was cheaper than my first quote. Great service all round.

This is third time I have employed this company within 12 months and the work was as follows on this occasion:

1) Repair leaking washing machine.
2) Source, supply and fit new stainless steel kitchen sink and tap.

Trevor undertook the first job within two days of contact, while Lee completed the second a fortnight later. In both cases, the quality of work was as good as is gets, as was Trevor's choice of sink and tap which my wife and I are delighted with.

Our downstairs cloakroom needed to be modernised and they were patient and understanding with us as we changed requirements during the quotation. Their help and advice helped us get to a satisfactory conclusion. It wasn't a big job but they brought the different trades together and everything worked out perfectly. Boiler replacement - Trevor, Lee and Callum were extremely professional, timely and reliable from start to finish; providing the initial quote to demonstrating the new boiler system controls and explaining the warranty service. The whole installation was completed within a day and they left the work areas immaculate. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again.

We had a new shower installed including wet wall, enclosure and tray. Trevor dealt with the quote and sourcing parts. Lee and Scott installed. All three guys are superb at what they do, friendly, very tidy workers and extremely conscientious. I had an Elektra electric combi boiler installed four years ago and have struggled to find suitable engineers to undertake any required repairs. I had come to the conclusion that I would have to consider having a replacement boiler installed however when Lee visited to discuss the installation of a new boiler, he very quickly said that he could repair my existing boiler. I was delighted on several counts, firstly my boiler is not really very old and a repair would be much cheaper than a new boiler. I was very impressed that Lee did not try to "sell" a new boiler.

Over and above the leak, I had always had a few concerns with this boiler which I shared with Lee. He offered to come back with an electrician and check everything which his colleague Trevor, Jack the electrician and Lee duly did. As it turned out, everything was working well (apart from the leak!).

Today, Lee and Callum came and replaced the faulty air valve, topped up the inhibitor and then carefully checked and bled every radiator.

I have found Lee and Trevor very knowledgeable and helpful, exceedingly professional and with an excellent "can do" attitude. They have always worked very diligently and carefully and have never made any mess.

I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely use them again should the occasion arise.

Needed a kitchen sink replaced due to a contractor over tightening the drain. My neighbour recommended Fife and Lothian Energy Services. I couldn’t be more happy with the service I received. Trevor came and double checked the measurements. Lee came and fitted. He also rearranged the drainage pipes, took my old sink away for me and left no mess. I have now signed up with them for my boiler and heating maintenance. I absolutely recommend this company for any plumbing needs required. They’re efficient and very affordable. I only wish I had known about this company sooner.

Trevor was friendly, helpful, patient, good at explaining the issues and very reassuring at how it could be dealt with.

It turned out to be a mixed plumbing job with lots of parts. It also needed a joiner which Trevor organised.

Both Trevor and Lee are clearly very experienced and competent plumbers. My dealings were mainly with Trevor who worked in a organised and methodical manner, double checking everything as he went. He was also very tidy and respectful of my house taking off his shoes etc and putting down protective covers on carpets.

Lee/Trevor also sorted out several plumbing/drainage/heating issues for my elderly mum and were very flexible and helpful dealing with the requests

Trevor came out to fix my boiler I can't thank him enough. He arrived when he said he would, was friendly, efficient and genuine. I will definitely be using Fife and Lothian Services from now on and would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Lee and Trevor have excelled again. 3 rd time, I’ve needed plumber/gas fitter this year. Moving house is not fun!
