I had an awkward wee leak hidden behind bathroom walls and under its floor - from working within a very restricted floor cavity to carefully removing and reinserting a large wall tile undamaged, Lee and his apprentice solved every problem with great skill, attitude and humour. We used Trevor and Lee when we moved into the house 11 months ago for gas safety checks, boiler service, bathroom instal etc, I took out their service plan, well the boiler broke down earlier. Thermal imaging survey completed today by Trevor who was extremely professional, put me at ease, explained the whole process and what was would happen from beginning to end. I got so much more information than I expected from this survey; how my heating works and how to use it more effectively to heat my house economically, where I lose heat and most importantly that my home does not need cavity wall insulation! This is third time I have employed this company within 12 months and the work was as follows on this occasion:

1) Repair leaking washing machine.
2) Source, supply and fit new stainless steel kitchen sink and tap.

Trevor undertook the first job within two days of contact, while Lee completed the second a fortnight later. In both cases, the quality of work was as good as is gets, as was Trevor's choice of sink and tap which my wife and I are delighted with.

Boiler replacement - Trevor, Lee and Callum were extremely professional, timely and reliable from start to finish; providing the initial quote to demonstrating the new boiler system controls and explaining the warranty service. The whole installation was completed within a day and they left the work areas immaculate. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again.

I had an Elektra electric combi boiler installed four years ago and have struggled to find suitable engineers to undertake any required repairs. I had come to the conclusion that I would have to consider having a replacement boiler installed however when Lee visited to discuss the installation of a new boiler, he very quickly said that he could repair my existing boiler. I was delighted on several counts, firstly my boiler is not really very old and a repair would be much cheaper than a new boiler. I was very impressed that Lee did not try to "sell" a new boiler.

Over and above the leak, I had always had a few concerns with this boiler which I shared with Lee. He offered to come back with an electrician and check everything which his colleague Trevor, Jack the electrician and Lee duly did. As it turned out, everything was working well (apart from the leak!).

Today, Lee and Callum came and replaced the faulty air valve, topped up the inhibitor and then carefully checked and bled every radiator.

I have found Lee and Trevor very knowledgeable and helpful, exceedingly professional and with an excellent "can do" attitude. They have always worked very diligently and carefully and have never made any mess.

Needed a kitchen sink replaced due to a contractor over tightening the drain. My neighbour recommended Fife and Lothian Energy Services. I couldn’t be more happy with the service I received. Trevor came and double checked the measurements. Lee came and fitted. He also rearranged the drainage pipes, took my old sink away for me and left no mess. I have now signed up with them for my boiler and heating maintenance. I absolutely recommend this company for any plumbing needs required. They’re efficient and very affordable. Replacement shower. Excellent service. Friendly, reliable team.

Previously, the firm replaced a rusty radiator and also fitted new fill and flush mechanisms to three toilets.
On this occasion, the central heating system was completely overhauled and two further rusting radiators were replaced. New TRVs, lockshield valves and bleed valves were fitted to all remaining radiators to update them to current standards.
The system was also bled and topped with inhibitor for corrosion protection, all for a very fair price.

Trevor and Calum did a great job and my 11 year old CH system looks brand new again. As such, I am happy to award 5/5 across the board based on two very favourable experiences within a short timespan.

We used Fife and Lothian Energy Services Ltd to replace our old boiler and radiators. They were professional from our initial meeting and they sorted all of the confused pipework that was in place. They were tidy and professional throughout the job and advised us about the kitchen pipework that will need to be considered when we get our new kitchen fitted.

Have been using this company for many years. Happened upon them accidentally and fortunately. And cannot recommend them highly enough. Services boiler regularly and recently has moved radiators and moved gas feed feed for new hob In kitchen.

We had them in to remove a very outdated boiler system in our home, and they did a fantastic job, we can already feel the difference in how warm the house is. This company does my certificated annual boiler service which is included in my breakdown cover for not much more than what other firms charge for a service alone - great value! As an example of their efficiency - I called at 9 on a Monday morning to report a inoperable toilet cistern and by 2 in the afternoon it was fixed. A faulty bedroom radiator valve was also replaced on the same visit.
If you're looking for a professional, polite and friendly outfit then look no further.
The engineers even put plastic shoe covers on before entering your home.

We moved into a new house and found a gas leak. Our gas was cut off so we needed a qualified gas engineer to fix the fault and put our gas back on. I called various companies in the Fife and Perthshire areas but none were available. I called Fife and Lothian Energy Services Ltd and spoke directly to Lee. He assured me that he should be able to attend that day, but if not definitely the next. Lee actually attended later that day, assessed the problem, fixed it and put our gas back on. Lee and his colleague were friendly, efficient and courteous throughout. The price for the job was also very reasonable. I genuinely cannot recommend Fife and Lothian Energy Services highly enough. They are a first class company.

I have no hesitation in recommending Fife and Lothian Energy. Lee, Trevour, and their team worked brilliantly to deliver the new heating system on time, under budget, and with so little mess. A fabulous service from start to finish. I am so lucky to have found them to do the work.
I live in Devon but needed a new heating system for an elderly relative near Kinross. Being a rural property, my options were limited, but Lee patiently guided me through the choices I settled on replacing the old night storage heaters & water tank with an oil system boiler. Living so far away I was very limited in being able to meet & discuss the quote so my first surprise was that Lee & Trevour were prepared to come to see me at the property in the evening.
Due to the scale of the work and likely disruption at the property we agreed to move my relative out for the week. My main concerns were whether the work would commence on the agreed date & finish within the proposed timescale. I would have to book accommodation for my relative and travel up from Devon to coincide with the work. I need not have worried. Work started as arranged and it was clear there was a well planned schedule in place. All parts of the work came together without issue and all the work was finished within the promised timescale.
My other concern was the mess that would be made while taking out the old system and cutting holes in the walls for the new pipes. Looking back now I still cannot understand how they could do the work they did without leaving any mess. The holes were patched so well its hard to see where they are and there was no dust. No cleaning needed. Just amazing.
All the team were polite, hard working and good at their jobs. I will certainly use the firm for any future work.

Boiler fixed. We (me and my 3 children) had no hot water and a noise coming from the boiler that meant we couldn't put the heating on.
I got a call out the same day I phoned. We got a temporary fix and the job complete within a couple of days.

From start at 8 am to finish at 8pm, Lee, Trevor and Bailey so hard to install a combi boiler. A problem arose with the old boiler which was not their fault and they would not leave until it was fixed. They are real professionals and very pleasant people to have in the house. If you want excellent plumbers, I cannot recommend FIFE and LOTHIAN ENERGY LTD highly enough.

SGN cut off my 77yo mother’s gas at 4pm on a Friday afternoon leaving it to us to find a gas safe engineer to come and sort out the problem in the domestic gas pipe work Fife & Lothian Energy services stepped up to the challenge and had a temporary fix in place that evening that got the essentials going again, they returned later to complete the permanent repairs that were required, all very efficiently organised, great communication and reliability, the price for the work carried out was very reasonable, we will be using them again!! Well done guys!!

Gas engineer from a different company had dismantled my shower and tiles and said this was cause of leak and boiler dropping pressure as it was running warm water when off and soaked behind tiles. They said boilers losing pressure and topping up every 2 hours was now fixed with removing shower. I had to ask what if it wasn’t and response was a new boiler.

Had to call Fife and Lothian Energy Services Ltd as issue wasn’t fixed. All I can say is they are AMAZING, I’ll never go elsewhere now I’ve found them. Great aftercare, very thorough, honest and helpful.

Came out next day to evaluate issue to provide quote. They found leak from bathroom sink pipe and towel warmer. The boiler is fixable and advised can change if requested but not necessary. Temporary fixed this issue too and asked me to let him know if pressure still dropped. NO charge for temp fixes.

I’m honestly so happy I found them and they’ve helped alleviate my stress with so many house problems at the one time.

I got a new boiler as my old one was goosed. Lee came out on 06/05/22 & got the job done in a few hours. I sat up in my room & let him bash on, he even fixed my shower door while waiting for Trevor {Brilliant} & tidied everything up. Trevor came back a couple of days ago & finished off the service.
A great local company who are all very friendly & if you have any problems they come out & sort it asap.

Engineer Trevor returned to house after they installed our new boiler system ,this visit was to add the flushing system through our installation.

In addition we had mentioned a new hob, after discussion Trevor advised he did carry a new boxed hob,this was immediately fitted, as well on the day and a plumbing situation addressed.

The support on the day was excellent and clearly represents a real trusted trader ,who provide a turnkey service,in gas engineering,and plumbing ,and they clear things away after them,which some do not, it makes a difference.

Excellent communication throughout ! And we have no hesitation in recommending them.

Radiators installed. The guys turned up on time, good communication, quality workmanship and kept everything neat and tidy. This is the 2nd time we’ve used this company and wouldn’t hesitate in using them in the future or recommending them to anyone.

Rapid install with top notch banter. Showed him a picture of a sunken bath from another house and talked about the cost of living crisis.

Also cleans up after install... a don't even know a sparky that does that.

I had used this team to replace living room radiators last October, they were so reliable and did such a good job that when new watermarks started appearing on my living room ceiling I contacted them straight away. They acknowledge your enquiry promotly and advised they would let us know ASAP when they would be available. They keep in regular contact and manage your expectations, turning up when they promise and offering full support after the job is complete for any snags. My mum was full of praise for the team fixing her leaking radiators as well. I can't recommend Trevor and his team enough - definitely a reliable, trusted trader!

I’ve used Fife and Lothian Energy Services Ltd for a while now and can’t recommend them highly enough. Just had my annual boiler service completed and had the great service (punctual, knowledgeable and great value) I’ve come to expect. Great company!

Boiler fitted and existing installation completely taken out and area restructured,with outlet to roof.


Work was professionally installed with due care to carpets and house,doors etc.

The engineers were always in communication with us,and asking and advising throughout installation.

Testing and providing clarity at all times to what was actually happening on the day.

The complete installation is also wired and connected to the latest technology the hive which then links to our phones,and tablets,which means if we require heat we can remotely address this before we arrive,for example ,arriving back from days away or holiday. ????

Lee, Trevor and his team fitted a full new gas central heating system and completed a full repipe. I am over the moon with the works completed. Cracking job! They also fitted a new shower and outside hot and cold taps. Having searched around for quality engineers, Lee & Trevor are definitely the best. They are extremely knowledgable, skilful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you can literally contact Lee and get a speedy response any time of the day. They listen to what you want and will explain everything fully. Definitely in safe hands with these guys. Also gave us the lowest quote by far and worked for a solid 3 full days. Left everything clean and tidy. Definitely the best in the business and I highly recommend this company. I definitely won’t go anywhere else. I will be getting these guys back for a new bathroom in the near future.

Brilliant service. Phoned them and spoke to Lee initially who was very friendly and organised a date to come out to fix a leaky bath waste. Wasn’t an emergency but still came out within a few days of calling.

We only just recently entered into a central heating maintenance contract with FALES and they inspected our system, identified some issues and went above and beyond to ensure they were resolved, all within the terms of the agreement. Our downstairs bathroom was changed into a fabulous shower room with new shower, toilet,sink unit, walls,flooring, radiator,ceiling and lighting. A new cloakroom was created in our upstairs bedroom with a loo and all plumbing and pipework. Had a new boiler installed, absolutely can't thank these guys enough. Work was scheduled fast, work carried out was good quality. They never stopped from start to finish. Definitely recommended to anyone I speak to, and if u read this would not hesitate give them a call u won't be disappointed!

Investigate fault with heating/hot water and supply and fit 2 thermostats. Suspected Problem identified by Lee within minutes and sound advice given on how to test for a week to make sure. Parts fitted and then tested again to make sure all was well. Spent hundreds of pounds previously with another company and they could not resolve the issue. Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Will now not use anyone else.
