Review a trader

We had a new roof (including boarding) fitted recently by SM Roofing. All work was carried out as planned and completed on time.

Scaffolding was erected 2 days before work started, and removed the day after completion.

Customer service was excellent. All debris was cleaned up before the guys left.

We have no complaints at all, and complete peace of mind that our roof has been replaced to a high standard.

Jody did a patio and pergola for us to place a hot tub on. He's also recently re-landscaped some of the garden, filling in a large slope and leveling it out. He's always professionally, puts in a shift every day he's there and produces results you're happy with. He's happy to advise, using his expertise, but also listen to what you want. I've recommended him to a few people in the family recently.

Kevin replaced several spotlights in my utility room, bathroom and kitchen, upgrading them to fire rated fittings.

He was easy to deal with from the start and explained things clearly, especially around insulation which was important for me. The work was done neatly and everything looks consistent across the rooms.

There was a slight issue with the kitchen cut outs being larger than expected, but he sorted it without any hassle and came back to finish the job once the right fittings arrived.

Pricing felt fair for the work carried out and I would happily use him again.

Boiler broke down. Quick as a flash Lindsay in the office sorted out attendance and Scott fixed the boiler. Great customer service. I always use Wisharts because they never let you down. Tom Brown.

Contacted Craig regarding a quote for a kitchen install.

We had several discussions with him around the kitchen and he suggested a local kitchen supplier worth looking at as we were growing tired of dealing with the big brands. We opted to go with Craig and the local supplier and are very happy with our new kitchen.

Craig and his team done a fantastic job and nothing was too much trouble. We also used other tradesman that he recommended for the plumbing, tiling and electrics and they were also excellent.

I would go as far as to say he is one of the best tradespeople I have ever dealt with and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

We had a leak in our bathroom. The plumber from Wishart came promptly and fixed the problem completely. The service was excellent and at a very good price. This is the second time time we have used this company for a plumbing issue and they have been excellent each time. I would highly recommend them.

Wisharts up sized 3 radiators in the sitting room, all work was carried out to a high standard, care was taken to protect the fabric of the room and the plumbers were polite and respectful.
We have used Wisharts as our go to plumbers for over 40 years and have never found them wanting.

New conservatory. Excellent experience from enquiry through to build and very helpful advice from Ian in the showroom. I arranged for my own design and drawings but in hindsight should have got FWD to manage the whole project.
Have to mention builder Johnny (The Scottish Soldier, what a character) and his team who to had to hand dig the foundations due to access limitations. The brickwork and quality of the work was really good, and they knew what they were doing with damp proof course, air vents, wind post etc., all in good order, could not fault them. After the build work, erection of the conservatory went very smoothly, all items numbered so fitted together like a jigsaw puzzle. Matt and his team of joiners were excellent, and mention for Matty doing the painting and electrician Raymond and son who were very efficient. A Family business well run and would highly recommend.
