Ogilvie Hayes Tree and Garden Services is a family business rooted in
Edinburgh. Nico & Ailidh established the business after coming together
in 2017. “We work together daily as Yin and Yang, balancing the
Symbiosis that’s required for business, nature and family.”
Ogilvie Hayes Tree and Garden Services are a friendly, local and professional service with 15 years experience we are fully insured with public & employers liability insurance. We are here to provide our customers with quality, safe, and environmentally-friendly Tree & Hedge services.
We have first class equipment provided for the job and our staff are qualified through LANTRA & NPTC arboricultural courses along with additional ABC / Tree life courses.

Nico pruned a hazel tree which was taking up too much space and light.
The shaping of the tree and exposure of the trunk has been a significant improvement to the appearance.

Our small front & back gardens with shrubs, hedge & overhanging trees was looking neglected. Nico & Ailidh came and in a very short time transformed it into what we can now be proud of. They were very knowledgeable about plants and their care.

Tree and shrub pruning several times. Reliable, came when said coming, scoped job, delivered effectively and efficiently. Knowledgeable about the trees and plants and gave advice as to what to do when. Add to that, thoroughly nice people.

We had a rather unruly blue spruce tree in need of pruning in an awkward spot however from first contact with this company they demonstrated a high level of professionalism Ailidh was always in contact with a cheerful informative message and Nico gave us a clear understanding of the work needed immediately setting us at ease that this company knew exactly what they were doing. Everything was done with such efficiency. Graham and Fraser who fulfilled the work carried on the friendly professional approach that this company obviously stands for I would not hesitate to use their services again.

We chose Ogilvie Hayes as their knowledge was so apparent from the outset.
We had three trees trimmed and one tree cut down. The work was carried out meticulously and we were kept advised throughout the process.
They worked in an orderly fashion from start to finish and left the garden tidy and free from debris.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Ailidh and Nico and their team. I felt confident that our trees were in very good hands!
