We thought we had done our homework and got 3 companies to quote, however, the sales person from ESCo was definitely the most professional and provided a wealth of additional knowledge helping us make the right choice of materials, openings, finish and gave us an hones insight into the shutter marketplace. Thanks to him we went for full height shutters on all rooms instead of cafe style - which would have been a false economy (trying to save money). This professionalism and honesty was mirrored from the staff in the office and the fitting team of Stevie and Jay (always asked if they wanted us to take their shoes off when entering the house) who also noticed a manufacturer fault in the openings of one of the shutters. They immediately called the office and full replacement shutter unit was ordered FOC and now has been fitted to replace the wrong one so we were never without the full set of shutters. They weren't the cheapest nor in fact the most expensive quote we had had for solid wood shutters, however, it was well worth the peace of mind by dealing with a fulltime shutter company/team. The finish across 2 large bay windows and an office at the front of the house, plus, a bathroom at the back of the house were actually beyond our expectations and money well spent. We would highly recommend you at least talk to them when considering shutters.

Excellent, efficient and professional service delivering a great quality shutter blind.

We had wooden shutters fitted to the inside of our bay windows. From the estimate to the showroom visit, paying the deposit, and finally, the fitting of the shutters, the whole operation was successful.
One of the fitters spotted an anomaly with the side of a bay window slightly out of square. He recommended a wooden fill in strip which will overcome the hiatus. The strip is now ordered, and I await a phone call when he can come to install it.

Excellent service from The Edinburgh Shutter Company. Wilma, Kevin, Aggie and Alfie are the most helpful staff I have ever encountered, do not hesitate to contact this company. I had all my windows fitted with beautiful shutters. My only complaint is that I wish I had more windows for them to work on!

I am so pleased with my full length dinning room shutters, the quality is great and the fitting has been done so well. I have been even more impressed after there was an accident at Christmas and a slat was broken at the professional, prompt service in replacing it for me without any problems! Extra shutter to fit our extra window.

We are absolutely delighted with our shutters! We really appreciated the help of 'Stevie' who fitted and measured the shutters. He was able to guide us on colours and shutter style that would suit our house which was a great help for such a large feature in our house. I was extremely impressed with the service and the fact they charge no deposit at all. I had priced around and this was by far the best quality for money. Fantastic service, fantastic quality and delighted with the finish! Would highly recommend.

Love my new shutters, lovely quality and they finish off the rooms nicely. First class service from the quoting process through to the excellent job Stevie and Jay made fitting them.

The initial visit from the salesman was excellent. We were immediately put at ease. Chris then came to measure up, ordered the shutters and their team then came and fitted them. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. I would gladly recommend. Top class sales and finished product.

The service from everyone has been fantastic. From Wilma in the office to the original engineer measuring up to both Stevie and Aggie who fitted the windows. We have awkward shaped windows on the top floor due to the Combes and the team went out of their way to work out how they could provide the best options for us.

It’s been great service from start to finish and I highly recommend going with this company if you are looking to install or renew your shutters
