I have used Malcolm and his team three times now.
I am delighted with the work, Dale is a meticulous worker and leaves everything tidy a each days end.
Malcolm kept us informed re delayed starting dates due to having to play catch up after Covid restrictions and staff illness. I was happy to wait as I knew I would be getting a good job.
The work done this summer was the hallway, a Victorian house with a huge drop from the cupola which needed a scaffold.

Malcolm and his team (on-site led by Lee, Malcolm's son) did such a fantastic job with the original renovation work, I naturally called for their help when I needed a small touch up decorating job after other trades' repair work completed. Quotation was done promptly and Malcolm put Aaron on the job for continuity of care since Aaron was part of the original team worked on my flat. CommunicatIon, workmanship, and attention to details were second to none. Malcolm and his team really take pride in their work and the professional standards they provided were excellent regardless whether it is a big job like whole flat decorating or a small touch up job! I will definitely continue to recommend them to my friends and family.

High quality work by tidy and reliable tradesmen. A tricky stairwell and panelled hallway done with attention to detail.

Malcolm‘s team refurbished the common stairs in our building in Jan 2020 and I would highly recommend them.
From a communication aspect, Malcolm was very patient during the time it took from the quote to the start date (5 months) given that we had to coordinate between all 6 flats in the building and the Council to agree and arrange the work.
During the refurbishment Malcolm kept in touch regularly about questions and progress updates. He also checked the progress several times to keep close to the work.
With regards to the work itself, his team worked efficiently and was very good, polite and considerate; this was especially appreciated as we had a bereavement as well as a birth in the building during the work. They always cleaned up every night which reduced the impact on the neighbours.
Most of all, the result is fantastic and with the superb customer service I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future. Thanks a lot!

Really pleased with the wallpapering done by Malcolm and his team. They were incredibly friendly and trustworthy, I felt confident leaving them working in the house. They arrived promptly at the time agreed and cleaned and tidied up at the end of the day. They also finished well within the time stated. I would happily recommend this company to anyone.

Malcolm’s company were involved in the full decoration of a Victorian flat we were refurbishing in Stockbridge.
I had used Malcolm before & knew the quality of his work & his quote was extremely competitive.
Malcolm does proper decorating work in that the job is fully assessed & walls, skirtings , facings etc fully prepared before actual decorating starts. The nature of the job where planning permission was required & numerous trades were coming & going, meant a fair degree of flexibility on his part.

I used Malcolm's services for the second time in late 2016, and I would recommend him without any reservation whatsoever. Malcolm and his team worked to an extremely high standard (and to the agreed timescale), and kept me well informed about progress with the work. Malcolm also went above and beyond when he arranged for a plumber to visit my property to handle some work required for the painting to go ahead after I was let down by another tradesman.

Malcolm and the team decorated my entire property from top to bottom. As it is a very old converted steading remedial works were required to plaster. Walls needed to be be filled, smoothed over and existing papers removed and re-lined. The finish is outstanding. Better than I could have hoped for given the original condition and what’s more I added extra tasks through out the job and nothing was a problem.

I’m glad I followed Malcolm’s advice and did the whole property as I originally only requested a couple of rooms. The overall feel is fresh and light and has turned the cottage into a lovely rental property from one that was quite run down.

Having not used a decorator before I can now see the value in the work. The lengthy prep work done by the team has given it a class finish. Thank you to Malcolm, lee and the team. I am looking forward to the day my residential home needs doing!
