Second time using Malcolm and his team.This time to hand paint kitchen units, and what a result!

This was to convert a very drab dark green unit kitchen, for elderly parents. Replacing kitchen, or doors was out of the question, and budget. Asked Malcolm if painting units was something he had experience of? I was relieved when he said yes! Not only units were painted, but the tiles also, bringing the kitchen back up to date with a more modern feel.

The results are incredible! The smile on my parents face is enough. The transformation for drab to clean and bright outstanding! I only wish I had taken before pictures.

Malcolm and his team are my go to decorators now. The next job is already lined up. So pleased to have found such a fantastic company, one that genuinely cares about their work.

Malcolm and his team repainted my one bedroom flat. The work was excellent, they finished quickly and on time, and left the place tidy. Very happy with the result. Malcolm provided very helpful suggestions w.r.t. choice of paint type and color that worked out very well. Very professional and friendly.

Malcolm Bell took care of painting our living room and hallway for us, with the hallway including a stair and the upstairs landing. They were asked to paint all walls, and all skirting boards and door frames, as well as 4 doors upstairs. The hallway also needed completely stripped of old wallpaper and relining.

Malcolm was very informative and thorough when he came to offer us the quote, taking extensive measurements that reassured us that the quote would accurately reflect the scale of the job, as well as informing us about options for types of paint to use and similar details about how they would prepare the walls to ensure a clean finish.

We gave them sample of our chosen colours, and they managed to match them exactly, even though our samples were of a different make. The work took 11 days and was completed while we were away on holiday. Malcolm kept us updated throughout, and we were able to handle all questions that arose remotely.

The work was completed to a high standard, with immaculate attention to detail, and at a very reasonable price, considering the scale of the task. We would wholeheartedly recommend Malcolm Bell and would be happy to use them in the future.

Malcolm and his team decorated two rooms and built wardrobes, removed and reconnected radiators. Their work is of a really high standard, they are tidy, clean, polite and work really hard. They turn up in time and finish when they say, which made it really easy for me to plan other things like deliveries of wardrobes and carpet fitting.

Malcolm and his team completed a massive overhaul of our entire flat. We bought the house and had to have treatment for damp so between the damp work and the previous owners not having decorated in (very) many years, and some dodgy decorating in the past, it needed a lot of work.
Malcolm supplied a friendly and professional team, and as the flat was empty, some days there were up to 10 people there to get the job done, which was brilliant for us as we were on a deadline to move in.
Malcolm checked in every day, updating me on progress and checking I was comfortable and understood what had been achieved each day. Malcolm even helped me think about colours and helped me with guidance about other aspects of decorating. The flat was also left tidy every day and the team cleaned up at the end of the job.

You'll find cheaper quotes but you won't get a better quality job. My living room cornice, ceiling, walls and fire surround have been painted perfectly. I am pain-in-the neck fussy so if I'm delighted it's saying something. I have no qualms about recommending Malcolm.

Entire two bed, two bath, flat decorated including all walls, ceilings and woodwork. Excellent job. Took slightly longer than we anticipated, but this was due to being meticulous and was worth the wait.

We had our walls and bedroom radiator painted (including panels), marble island re-sealed, backsplash re-tiled, radiator replaced and new valves placed. We had an excellent experience. Malcolm is easily contactable and well organized. All jobs were done to a high standard and we are thrilled with the end result. Also, every tradesman that came to our home was professional and kind. I couldn't rate more highly on quality of service and reliability. I have and will continue to recommend to our friends.

Another excellent job done by the team from Malcolm Bell. We had a number of rooms decorated. I often think how hard is it to paint a wall, but when it is done by professionals such as Malcolm Bell it just looks a different class, than had I tried to do it myself. The job included painting ceilings, walls, woodwork, papering and addition of coving to several rooms. The job is excellent and definitely a standard I could never achieve. The team are all excellent to deal with and respectful of your home and what is important for you. Best of all they take care of your home and leave it as they found it. Highly recommend, whilst not the cheapest, I firmly believe that it is worth paying just a little bit more to know the outcome will be long lasting. I can't imagine we will need to redecorate for a very long time. Quality of products recommended and supplied were first class and plenty of options were made available to me. Very grateful for an excellent job.
