As a return customer of Malcolm Bell and his team,we once again found them to be reliable,unobtrusive,polite and friendly.The walls were meticulously prepared before papering. There was minimal mess and when the room was completed it was the best finish we have seen from any previous decorators. We will be happy to use them again.

Malcolm wallpapered a feature wall in a bedroom for us. While I'm sure it was a small job for him, I was extremely impressed by his quick service in quoting the job and then doing the work. The quality of work was excellent and the friendly and professional service was really appreciated. I'd highly recommend Malcolm to anyone looking for a top quality company for decorating work.

Malcolm and his team were able to accommodate me at short notice and did a brilliant job stripping wallpaper, preparing and lining the walls. Everything that we discussed was delivered on time, within the previously agreed budget and communication was prompt and to the point. The team were punctual and polite and they worked really hard to deliver the great results. On completion walls were left looking perfect and flat tided leaving me with very little to other than enjoying the results. I would recommend Malcolm to everyone looking for a decorator and will certainly be using him again.

The scope was fairly limited: two rooms needing ceiling, cornices and walls painted (2 coats, white on ceiling, colour on walls). The condition of the walls wasn’t perfect, so some minor filling required.

From an initial contact through to completion, very glad to have chosen Malcolm and his team. Their excellent, professional job on the paintwork was matched by their work ethic, time keeping, courtesy and communication throughout.

Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Malcolm and his team did a fantastic job painting and decorating my living room and study. They were flexible in working around other jobs being carried out at the same time. The finished job is of a very high standard and I have already provisionally booked the team for further decorating in the near future.

Malcolm provided me with a quote for a large amount of work. I have just had my kitchen re-done and was keen to get that painted as soon as possible to allow me to take the protective covers off the new units. Liam has been in for the last week and has done a fantastic job painting the kitchen, which now looks amazing. The team will be back in May to do the rest of the work, which involves the dining-room, large hallway over two floors which will need internal scaffolding, and the common vestibule. An excellent job all round.

This is the second time we have used Malcolm Bell Decorators and we could not be happier with the results.The first time was a bedroom and we have just had our hall, stairs and landing decorated and hope to use them again in the future.Their attention to detail is impressive and they will take whatever time is required to get the best possible finish.I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in their services.

We had an extensive amount of decorating done by Malcolm and his team in our home. Overall they did an excellent job. They took time to thoroughly prepare surfaces before decorating and left the house tidy at the end of each day. I have used Malcolm and his team several times now and would recommend him wholeheartedly. His work is to an exceptionally high standard and I would not now use another decorator in Edinburgh. The preparation work in particular is thorough and provides excellent results, and he and his team are always a pleasure to talk to.
