Malcolm sorted out a ceiling and wall after water damage. Saved the lathe and plaster, secured loose cornice and left a professional finish. Also managed this at short notice and accommodated a change to preferred start date. Couldn't have asked for better and I would not hesitate to use again.

I had my bathroom retiled, relined and painted.
Both Ian the tiler and Dale the painter were excellent workers, they were very thorough and paid great attention to detail, taking pride in their work.
They communicated well, checking in with me when questions cropped up during the job and they tidied up after themselves every day.

I have used Malcolm Bell Decorators Ltd for various decorating jobs and have recently used Malcolm and his team to undertake the redecoration of the entire interior of the property. This was a major job which required the team to be onsite over a period of weeks. At every stage the service is both highly professional and skilled. And it’s organised and tidy too. Great care is taken over not just the work but in the level of courtesy and consideration provided by his team. Malcolm personally maintains close supervision and is always on hand to discuss planning and any decisions which need to be made. Malcolm and his team have just completed some excellent work for my 87-year-old mother. They are highly professional in terms of the quality of their work and the way they communicate. The outside of our house was painted - a mix of surfaces including pipes, gutters, doors, iron gates, timber cladding and rendered panels - as well as a clean -up of plastic fascia panels. Overall an excellent job. The painter, Craig, was methodical and thorough and did the work without mess or any inconvenience to us. The quality of the work was very high.

Got the woodwork in the bay window of our living room painted as well as a smaller window area in a bedroom. Malcolm was prompt in replying to our query, friendly in person and gave a thorough quote for the work. He was great at communicating throughout, and the painter doing the job was always polite and on time. Very happy with the finished product and would use their services again.

Used Malcolm Bell Decorators Ltd to decorate the hall and bathroom. Small flat but big job. There are eight doors off the hall, and I knew the bathroom door was going to be a problem as it had discoloured almost immediately after the last time it was decorated (not by Malcolm's team). The prep that they did was immense and when the work was completed both areas looked fabulous. I am thrilled with the work they have done and will definitely use this company again. In fact, I will be contacting them in the new year to decorate the living room and bedroom. Cannot say enough good things about this company. Highly recommended.
