Mark did some work on our tenement door and fitted a kickplate. He was courteous and helpful, despite being very busy. The work was done timeously and Mark even came back at 9 pm to finish a job off. He also came back after the main job was finished to fit the kickplate without charging for his labour.
Great service and I will be using Lockstar for any future door and lock jobs which might arise.

Great locksmith service offered by Mark.I employed him to open a garage door which if you knew the type of bespoke door was not an easy job.He worked at it till the job was complete and charged a fair and reasonable fee for the job.Very honest guy, i could not reccomend him more highly and would defo employ again if the need arose.

BIG thank you to Mark and his company. A replacement door closer for the stair was required and Mark gave excellent advice regarding the best device for the job. Mark and his assistant duly appeared at the agreed time to remove broken closer and fit new one.
He offered to do any "fine tuning" to the device once it was in place. A very professional service at a very competitive price. He's now our go to guy.

New lock fitted to main-door, communal close with multiple keys cut for each flat. Brilliant communication, prompt arrival and expert work. All covered by a one year guarantee too. Definitely recommend.

Mark proved to be a first-class tradesman. He was competitively priced, prompt, and friendly. His work was very good and the new rim lock was fitted neatly and with no mess. I asked where I could get some extra keys cut, and he offered to go away and cut 5 extra for me, at no extra cost. All in all, a textbook example of how a tradesman should be - highly recommended.

I was having difficulty opening my front door, the key was sticking in the Yale lock and I was worried that I might be locked out at some point. I emailed Lockstar at lunchtime on a Wednesday, recieved a reply the same afternoon and by that evening I had an appointment for the next day. Mark arrived and after looking at the lock he told me that I did not need a whole Yale lock just the bit that the key goes in, which was cheaper, he could have told me I needed a whole system. Within less than an hour the job was done, Mark tidied up and swept the carpet, a very professional job. I am very pleased with Lockstar and would definitely use them again in the future.

The tumblers had gotten stuck on a small document safe I use occasionally. I sent an email to get a quote, and the response was very quick and helpful. I brought the safe into the Dundas street location without an appointment and the staff helped me right away. The safe was open again in less than five minutes. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly throughout.

I phoned with a front door lock problem. Mark made suggestions to try first including using WD40! His suggestion worked and as he said he didn't think it fair to come out and we incur a call out charge for something that I could fix with a bit of advice. Impressed with his attitude and honesty. Definitely recommend.

We were unable to open our kitchen door as the handle had broken. Mark visited within an hour, and managed to gain access. After checking other doors, he arranged to return a few days later and replace 3 which were faulty.
We were very impressed with Mark's service and professionalism, and now have his number programmed into our phones in case of future problems. Highly recommended.

We need a new lock barrel fitted to the communal stair door as many occupants were finding it difficult to get their keys to turn. Mark fitted this, supplied keys (even put them through each flat's letterbox in an envelope with details of the company), and put up a poster on the front door explaining what had been done. He was polite and efficient throughout. Would highly recommend.
