Thank you so much Mark for coming to my aid so quickly when my front door key got stuck in the lock. You advised me over the phone that it was most likely a worn cylinder, quoted a price for labour and the replacement cylinder which included 3 keys. You arrived in 30 mins by re-prioritising your jobs because I couldn't leave the house! I'd have never found you if it wasn't for Trusted Trader. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to my family and friends. I'd had a rubbish week of things going wrong and you restored my faith in great service again - thank you so much :-)

Was having some trouble with the lock on the back door to get out onto the patio!
Phoned up Lockstar and he came out and had a look.
It's not your average conventional lock but he managed to repair it in a matter of minutes!
Very professional and very polite!

Just had another faultless piece of locksmith work carried out by Mark.
Survey of the job revealed no need for a new mortice lock but identified that internal workings and mechanism needed replaced instead. This type of assessment installs 100% customer trust in the integrity of the work required and carried out.
Would not consider going anywhere else for any locksmith related work.
Great job done.

I would Highly recommend Lockstar. I managed to lock myself out and Mark was with me within 20 minutes. I have a security door and had left the keys in the back when I had gone out. (You pull the handle up to lock it) . Anyway he managed to get us in, in no time at all, and always had a smile on his face. Fantastic service and a genuinely lovely guy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mark was great. We had keys stolen on holiday and we arranged him to arrive when we did from abroad. This worked even despite flight delays.Mark got us in in seconds and for the best price of all we contacted to boot. Sterling effort.He even kept the lock intact so we could still use it again.

Lockstar is the best locksmith company to use in Edinburgh. Their communication was excellent, and I highly recommend them for lock repair. They fixed our tenement main door smoothly and professionally, taking extra care to ensure a quality job, especially considering the involvement of nine owners.

Mark could not have been more helpful when I ended up unable to get in or out of my front door. He responded quickly to my message and visited soon after, quickly getting the door open and then spending time realigning the locks and the door so that everything now works smoothly and easily for the first time in years! He cleaned up after finishing the work and the cost was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

While not urgent, I was keen to have the lock replaced on a upvc door asap, as it was preventing other work from being carried out.
Despite being busy Mark agreed to visit to complete the work on the bank-holiday.
Mark kept me informed of his expected time of arrival on the day the work was to be completed, and arrived when expected.
He was very friendly, and completed the work quickly.
The price originally quoted was reasonable, so it was a nice suprise when he said that he would be reducing the laboutr charge, as the work hadn't been as complicated as he had accounted for.
A friendly, professional and good value for money service. Lockstar will be my go-to for any future lock needs.

The company came out to quote for repair. Completed necessary repair {which they claimed was minor} FREE OF CHARGE!

Mark and his assistant performed two separate jobs requiring separate visits. Jammed patio door and rotten beading around glass side door. Excellent, quick response to initial enquiry. Work performed efficiently and effectively at a low cost. Arrived promptly on time for each job. Explained each issue clearly and a proposed solution. Tidied up well following job completion. Good friendly attitude throughout.

Had a problem with getting my double glazed window properly closed and locked. Phoned Lockstar and the guy came by to take a look within the hour. Luckily it wasn't a massive job so he sorted it out there and then no worries!! Very reasonable priced!! Will definitely use this company again so cheers!

We needed our tenement door lock fixing and the door wasn’t closing properly. Mark from Lockstar was excellent. His communication was clear, he did everything in a timely manner and nothing was too much. We needed new keys cut for all the flat owners and Lockstar made the whole process extremely simple and straightforward. I would definitely recommend them.
