Business Information
At J & E MacGregor Ltd., we aim to provide a reliable, friendly and quality service for all types of plumbing, heating and gas, throughout the Edinburgh area.
From minor maintenance and repair through to complete kitchen, bath & shower room refurbishments. We can also supply and install a wide range of gas fires, along with aftercare maintenance and servicing.
We also carry out boiler servicing, through to full boiler and heating system replacements, and can provide free estimates for these projects. We can also carry out Landlord Certification, if required.
We use only fully trained and qualified engineers to provide our service and are established members of SNIPEF, the Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering, SEPA, Safe Contractor and The Gas Safe Register.

I can confirm that J&E MacGregor replaced and extended our central heating in June 2015 and we are fully satisfied with the result.
The work involved removing 8 old radiators and the old boiler and replacing them and their pipework with 13 new radiators and a new Worcester Green Star 30i boiler. All the work was completed very professionally and with the minimum of disruption in spite of the requirement to lift carpets and floorboards and to install new pipework through the ceiling and walls. The entire works were completed in 4 days, the price was exactly as estimated and our house was left clean and tidy. Please pass on our thanks to Mark and the rest of the team for a job well done.
