The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.
Our service is comprehensive; be it a slate repair, choked outlet or small re-roofing contract to felted, slated/tiled roofs and maintenance work.

This firm was instructed on behalf of all the proprietors in a block of six dwelling houses / apartments in connection with roof repairs (including slating and rainwater goods): down taking of chimney to roof level and installation of cortex flues, erection / downtaking of scaffolding etc, and repair & maintenance of mutual pathway and staircase including ground works. All the work appears to have been carried out in a satisfactory manner. This may be vouched by one of the proprietors who himself is a civil engineer. A pleasing aspect of the service provided has been the prompt and courteous manner in which queries have been answered. In addition; the attention provided by the firm , after settlement of invoices has been conducted quickly and in a friendly manner. As far as I am able to judge this is a highly professional firm which takes pride in its workmanship, courteousness and professionalism. From my experience I would have no hesitation in instructing GW & JS again nor in recommending the firm to others.

I had used this trader before , and called to get an estimate for roof work.
The proprietor came when agreed to prepare an estimate , submitted an estimate promptly (at a reasonable cost) , and had the work carried out efficiently at the agreed time.
I plan to use again!

It was a good day for us when we chanced upon GW & JS Construction Ltd!! We have used this company several times over the last year for a variety of tasks such as roof and chimney repairs (finally fixed after several other companies' attempts!), ceiling repair, erecting a fence, window installation and room remodelling. Each job has been completed with the utmost professionalism and to our great satisfaction. Guy and Jason have been a pleasure to deal with and are so friendly and helpful, as has been each of the tradesmen that have been in the house. It is a pleasure to be able to recommend such a thorough, professional and approachable company.

This company stepped into what turned out to be emergency repairs of our Church Roof. The full extent of which was not discovered until slates etc were removed. They then provided advice and a new quote for the work that would now be required and set to getting things moving immediately. They worked well with us and kept us advised at all times.
The Apse Roof is semi-circular in construction and not straightforward but their Tradesman worked away constantly, always on site and always working. To my eyes and others I have spoken with the job looks superb.
The site has been left in a very tidy condition.
Working with Jason, Guy and Ron has been easy.
Would thoroughly recommend them and would use them again, although I hope we don't need to.

Communication throughout the project was exemplary as was time keeping. The actual work was carried out by a professional and courteous team who completed the task quickly and tidily. Although this was not a large project the high level of service provided gives me the confidence to both consider this company for larger jobs and to recommend to others.

The directors are personable, approachable and easily contactable which I find particularly reassuring. The workforce are so helpful, obliging and talented.
External stonework at my property in the New Town, which required renovation, was the work of craftsmen. I am delighted with the results which has received many compliments.

Friendly, professional and easy to use service from an excellent company. Staff are always very helpful, taking the time to explain anything I don't understand.
A reasonably-priced quote was sent very quickly with full photo documentation on what needed repaired and why. Because I had asked several different companies for quotes, it was very reassuring to know that GW & JS Construction are on the ball with providing accurate photos and quotes as soon as they can.
I'm very happy with their service, and I'll be using them again in the future.
