Edinburgh Heating provides a full range of services to central heating and hot water systems throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
We are Gas Safe registered, and have been well reviewed for our quality of work both on Trusted Trader and other sites.
We are Advanced installers for Vaillant boilers, one of the best on the market. German engineering and proven reliability.
We are also Platinum Installers for the Intergas brand of boilers from Holland where they are the market leader and for good reason too. We believe their boilers represents a significant step forward in design, with less moving components inside they are more reliable, more efficient and more cost efficient than traditional boilers.
We are also accredited to install the Nest learning thermostat as one of their pro installers. The Nest thermostat learns your routines and ideal temperatures and then quietly goes about it's business of keeping your home at the perfect temperature while saving you money.

I contacted Iain for a repair to our Vaillant boiler which was intermittently failing to produce hot water. Iain arrived on time, diagnosed the issue (a defective sensor and an under-pressurised pressure vessel), explained the problem and applied the necessary repair. Friendly and efficient service, would highly recommend Iain.

We have used Edinburgh Heating for our boiler service for many years now and have always found them professional and reliable. They turn up when expected and give you advanced warning of when they're on their way. They are thorough in their work, take the time to explain what they're doing and if there are any issues, they are quick to resolve them.

I've used Iain over several years for everything heating related in my property, from emergency call outs to moving pipework and replacing an ancient boiler. He is professional, knowledgable, efficient, a considerate tradesman and above all, a really nice guy! I'd not use any other company unless I had to, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Edinburgh Heating.

A friend recommended Edinburgh Heating to me five years ago for boiler installation as part of a renovation project and ended up by the best company I used throughout the project. During installation they were very patient and accommodating of my changing needs in regards to the radiators, providing valuable guidance. Since then, Iain and his team have continued to provide excellent customer service during annual boiler services and are on hand if I have any questions about the boiler/heating at any point. Consistent, communicative and accommodating, I recommend them to anyone looking for heating installation!

Iain installed my combi boiler and my new radiators a couple of years ago and I have him back every year to do the service. I find him very helpful and he takes the time to explain anything I don't quite understand and he also sorted my nest thermostat this time too. Would be happy to recommend him to friends and family.

We wouldn’t consider anyone else for our servicing and repair needs because in the past Iain has patiently solved problems which had baffled our previous service company. This year’s service was as thorough and friendly as ever, with very helpful reporting on the various tests. Although there was a non-urgent option to replace something, there was no pressure at all to commission the additional work.
