I’m not great at writing reviews but this whole team deserves recognition.
From Kirsty in the office, to Ian and Cain who came and replaced my old boiler last week and even Iain, the boss I believe, who initially took my call after the main office shut at 12noon. I had expected an answering machine!
I apologise if I have any names wrong but everyone was helpful, polite and extremely patient with all the questions and queries I hit them with.
They were all down to earth with a sense of humour they needed around me but never lost their professionalism.
The guys arrived first thing in the morning when expected, didn’t take any breaks and worked until the job was completed into the late afternoon.
They renewed and adapted all pipe work necessary, flue etc and flushed the system and all with no mess.
They worked diligently, competently and efficiently.
They brought everything needed with them so never did a disappearing act to get ‘parts’ or other things they forgot to bring which is a first for me.
They maintained as clean a working environment as possible and after they left, you would not have known they had been.
The price they quoted was competitive with no payment due on the day of installation allowing time for me to be confident no initial problems occurred.
Their contract was clear and complete and being backed by Which, Trusted Trader, Google and accredited installers for Valliant gave me all the reassurances I needed.

After receiving quotes from several companies, chose Edinburgh Heating for a gas boiler replacement and new TVRs. They were able to give me a wide choice of boiler models and manufacturers (unlike some other contractors who seem to be tied-in to a particular brand) and gave me some excellent unbiased advice about how to choose, which was invaluable. The work was scheduled within a few days, they came when they said they would, did a very professional job and left the property clean and tidy after. Have used them again for some follow-up work and they were just as good. Highly recommended.

Edinburgh Heating installed my Vaillant boiler 5 years ago. It was a seamless procedure and I have used them ever since. They are prompt, attentive and friendly and good value for money. Would highly recommended them.

I had a new boiler fitted last week and the engineer called Cain was just excellent he was very pleasant kept me informed of what was happening and he worked very hard to make sure everything was just right.My overall experience with Edinburgh Heating from the time I phoned till the job was done was 5 stars.I would recommend them to anybody.

Upgraded our Vaillant boiler to a smart thermostat. Iain is very knowledgeable and checked with us beforehand what would work for our setup without any over-selling or pressure to get an over-powered or over-priced bit of tech.
Went above and beyond to ensure everything was hooked up to broadband and working on our smartphones too.

Our boiler check was as slick as ever. Ian reminds me when it's due so I don't need to worry about it. Timings were exact too and our technician polite and capable.

Boiler broke down 3 days before Christmas. Panic!! Appointment made, and kept. Fault diagnosed, part sourced the next day, very efficiently fitted and boiler tested. Friendly and sympathetic person on phone, great boiler engineer, job done with no hassle . Bill now paid. Could not have asked for more. Would highly recommend.

Turned up promptly, friendly and did a great boiler service.

Identifying a boiler fault. The boiler did not get the signal from the receiver to switch off. The property had recently had a new kitchen installed and hence the boiler problem.
Boiler service was also carried out another day.
Very straightforward arranging the repair. Also I was kept informed when Ian would be arriving.
I would definitely use this firm again.

They are very reliable.
They agree an appointment date and stick to it.
They keep you well informed by email throughout.
Staff are very professional....they even wear shoe covers when in your home.
I would not employ anyone else for any heating related work.

We had our combi boiler installed by Iain Clarke of Edinburgh Heating in 2019. Iain's in depth knowledge and advice have payed dividends in the intervening years. Not once have we had any issues with the boiler he installed for us. That's why I have given this company 5 stars....a more than trusted trader!
