Business Information
Edinburgh Heating provides a full range of services to central heating and hot water systems throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
We are Gas Safe registered, and have been well reviewed for our quality of work both on Trusted Trader and other sites.
We are Advanced installers for Vaillant boilers, one of the best on the market. German engineering and proven reliability.
We are also Platinum Installers for the Intergas brand of boilers from Holland where they are the market leader and for good reason too. We believe their boilers represents a significant step forward in design, with less moving components inside they are more reliable, more efficient and more cost efficient than traditional boilers.
We are also accredited to install the Nest learning thermostat as one of their pro installers. The Nest thermostat learns your routines and ideal temperatures and then quietly goes about it's business of keeping your home at the perfect temperature while saving you money.

This was an annual boiler service as it was Edinburgh Heating who installed the boiler. I get a reminder when the service is due, it is booked in and I get updates on the day of the service of their arrival time. Great service, great workmanship. Just a great company to deal with.

We’ve used Iain’s company to install 3 boilers in 3 very different and sometimes challenging properties and to service them on an ongoing basis. He has high standards for himself and his team and is the perfect combination of professional, pragmatic and friendly.

Having just had our 4 year full service completed by Iain of Edinburgh Heating I am delighted to say our 4 year old boiler past it's 'MOT' with flying colours. No surprises there as we have never experienced any problems either with our boiler or this 5 star company who continue to provide a sterling service above and beyond.

I have used Edinburgh Heating to service our boiler for a few years now. I love the fact that they send you a reminder that your annual service is due because I would probably forget. They also send confirmation of your booking and also a message on the day to let you know when the engineer is going to arrive. Would recommend them without hesitation.

We had our aging 20+ year old gas boiler replaced with a new Vaillant one. Iain, Shaun and Cain made an excellent job of installing the new boiler, hot water cylinder and some additional radiators. Cain's work was of a very high quality and extremely neat and tidy throughout. A very friendly and helpful team, and happy to recommend.

Great comms all the way including updates on the day of the visit (which had been rearranged at short notice due to COVID).
Standard service, carried out by Shaun this time, done very efficiently without fuss, and even a wee extra done sorting a wee leak in a radiator in that room.
Good price.
Highly recommended - I also got Iain to sort out my in-laws, and he was most patient and helpful with them.

System was not functioning properly. Faults found and system now working properly.

Customer service is impeccable. We were advised of each step throughout jobs. Engineers turned up on time. Work was done in a professional manner and completed leaving work area clean and tidy.

I had used another company to put in a new mega flow, however the heating did not work so they had to be called again. This person came back and said it would take hours to fix so I thought let’s try some other company and chose Edinburgh Heating and thank god I did . It was sorted in less than an hour by Iain who knows his stuff. I would recommend this company as a 5 star . They know their job and are very nice people too. You will not go wrong with this company and I will certainly use them again when needed. Iain was excellent!
