Business Information
Edinburgh Heating provides a full range of services to central heating and hot water systems throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
We are Gas Safe registered, and have been well reviewed for our quality of work both on Trusted Trader and other sites.
We are Advanced installers for Vaillant boilers, one of the best on the market. German engineering and proven reliability.
We are also Platinum Installers for the Intergas brand of boilers from Holland where they are the market leader and for good reason too. We believe their boilers represents a significant step forward in design, with less moving components inside they are more reliable, more efficient and more cost efficient than traditional boilers.
We are also accredited to install the Nest learning thermostat as one of their pro installers. The Nest thermostat learns your routines and ideal temperatures and then quietly goes about it's business of keeping your home at the perfect temperature while saving you money.

Needed a bathroom radiator replaced and wanted it done along with the annual radiator service. It turned out to be a tricky job, due to the old radiator having dropped and caused a system leak. Cain did a brilliant job, repairing the leak, fitting the radiator and servicing the boiler. First class!

Fixing a boiler - they were really quick to respond, and get on with the work, and let me know all along what was happening. I was really pleased to get this done. I have used this company many times and have always been really pleased with the work they do, and with the speed of the service.

Our boiler stopped working 10 days before Christmas and I spent 3 days trying to find a heating engineer that could fit us in. Edinburgh Heating called me back, managed to fit me in to their busy schedule and attended when they said they would (unlike some other heating companies I could mention who gave me three separate "no-shows").
Iain attended and was friendly, polite and professional throughout.
He "unseized" the boiler pump, gave me some advice for nursing the system through the festive period and also recommended some remedial work including solutions to resolve the layout issues of the pipework caused by the chimps that installed the system in the first place.
I was also impressed with his invoicing system, a PDF invoice direct from his phone :)
We'll be in touch after the NY to arrange the remedial work.

Iain, Heather and Cain were all outstanding, can easily recommend them if anyone is wondering if they should use Edinburgh Heating. At very short notice they installed a new gas combi boiler for my 85 year old mother after she waited more than two weeks for a large national company to repair the old one only to find on the repair date they could not repair it hence the urgent hunt for a competent company to install and then look after a new boiler. The contrast was huge - Iain and Heather were genuinely concerned about the situation and strived to provide an incredibly swift solution (which they did - from first call to installation was 2 days!!). Cain installed the boiler and matched Iain and Heathers concern and professionalism with a first class piece of work. A great team and importantly for mum a local, caring team rather than being a statistic in a call centre. Well Done Edinburgh Heating.

Edinburgh Heating serviced our Vaillant boiler. Although the time of the appointment was changed, EH communicated regularly about the change of time. The work was carried out efficiently by Shaun and we received a detailed description of the work done along with photos. Happy to recommend company to others.

Keith from Edinburgh Heating sent out help at short notice on a Friday afternoon when a leak in a heating pipe quickly depressurised our heating system. His team members (Lewis and Kane) were super nice, polite, and professional. They worked hard for a couple of hours under the subfloor to get the problem fixed before the weekend. They left everything tidy and even checked in on the Saturday to make sure things were fixed and still working. Based on my experience I can highly recommend the company and will have no hesitation in calling them again any time.

My boiler had stopped working and I phoned up Iain at Edinburgh heating to see if he could come and fix it. He was on the other side of town and was fully booked, but he gave me some advice which allowed me to get the boiler working again. Really nice guy, very helpful and knowledgeable, he saved the day. I would definitely call him next time I need any work doing.
