Edinburgh Heating provides a full range of services to central heating and hot water systems throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
We are Gas Safe registered, and have been well reviewed for our quality of work both on Trusted Trader and other sites.
We are Advanced installers for Vaillant boilers, one of the best on the market. German engineering and proven reliability.
We are also Platinum Installers for the Intergas brand of boilers from Holland where they are the market leader and for good reason too. We believe their boilers represents a significant step forward in design, with less moving components inside they are more reliable, more efficient and more cost efficient than traditional boilers.
We are also accredited to install the Nest learning thermostat as one of their pro installers. The Nest thermostat learns your routines and ideal temperatures and then quietly goes about it's business of keeping your home at the perfect temperature while saving you money.

Service was impeccable end to end. I was able to book a prompt appointment at short notice and the boiler engineer went above and beyond to ensure both the boiler and my radiators were working properly. Polite, efficient and thorough. Would definitely recommend.

Company called out to complete a first service on Ariston gas boiler. It was found that screws were missing on the flue and the central heating system water was filthy, black in colour. Also no filter fitted, I informed the company who had originally fitted the boiler and their engineer came out fitted the screws took a sample of water and said he had seen cleaner.
At this point I decided to ask Edinburgh Heating to flush the system, and fit a filter also a new radiator.
A young plumber arrived (Cain),very polite, professional and sympathetic to my situation, 86 years old. Job complete now and system working perfectly. Thanks so much I will use your company from now on, and wish you had fitted the boiler.

Edinburgh heating were recommended to me & were excellent.
Iain came at very short notice as had no heating. He assessed problem, explained clearly & replaced a faulty valve.
He also took time to explain a couple areas where our system could be working more efficiently to help reduce bills & all done with no pressure whatsoever.
Will definitely be using in future & highly recommend.

As always the team at Edinburgh Heating provided an excellent service. Our boiler was given a thorough service and the price was as quoted.
Particular comment must be made of the great communication around appointment setting then arrival time on the day. Lewis arrived exactly on schedule, was both very polite and worked in a very tidy and efficient fashion. Highly recommended.

Iain carried out the annual servicing & maintenance of my mum’s heating system. Provided a very professional & friendly service throughout and was very reasonably priced.

Had a radiator moved and existing pipe work moved from the skirting and run under the floor. Communication, service and price were fantastic. Worked around other trades too, which made everything easier. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again! Thanks!

Ian came out recently to deal with a problem in the central heating. I was given an appointment promptly and kept informed by text about time of arrival. I have found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful and have been very satisfied to use Edinburgh Heating for the annual service which has been carried out three times.

Iain's quote to replace our heating pipes, radiators and boiler was not the cheapest - but was close to the others and we selected him because of his attitude and approach when he came to quote. He took much more time to assess the job properly, had good ideas and a really approachable demeanour. He is able to explain things well to the customer.
The job was more complex than anticipated once floorboards etc came up, with many unexpected challenges, and Iain handled these very professionally and cheerfully, and still finished on time.
The finished job is just great - and we have a lovely warm toasty house, after many years of struggling with our old boiler and antiquated pipe system.
We would not hesitate to recommend him - and have already booked him for another job ourselves.
