We commissioned Derek Christie Plumbing to completely remodel our bathroom. This included ripping out all the old 70’s interior, removing the stud walls of an old cupboard and replacing it with a new doorway to make the space much bigger, installing large-format tiles and installing all the plumbing and electricals. With all of the work completed, we can safely say that Derek and his team are amazing. Derek is incredibly professional, calm and positive, and clearly takes a great deal of pride in the excellent work he and his team deliver. They were very accommodating of design changes (for example, when we discovered a recess in the wall that had been covered up, Derek and the team were more than happy to turn adjust the designs and turn it into shelf space for us).
The joinery and electrical work was flawless and the tiles look better than we ever imagined. With such a big project to undertake, we were really nervous leading up to it but Derek made the whole process seem really easy – it was clear from day one that we were in very safe hands.
Derek was also instrumental in the design process itself, as we had quite a few options and didn’t know which to pick or which arrangement would be most suitable, but Derek’s expertise ensured that the final design maximised the space and potential of the room. In short, the team were an absolute pleasure to work with and thanks to Derek Christie Plumbing, we now have our dream bathroom!

We had our bathroom shower repaired and restored. All the bathroom tiles removed and replaced with splash back boards. This now makes the bathroom look very clean and bright. The shower looks and feels brand new. We were very pleased with all aspects of the work, which was carried out to a high standard and in a timely fashion. Had to change my bathroom to accommodate my elderly mother. Having no experience of finding the right trades person this kind of job, Derek Christie came highly recommended by a neighbour. Derek was very understanding and helpful in helping me remodel the space to remove the bath and replace with a walk-in shower. Although the it took a while to get a quote and fix a time for the work to be done, Derek was great at double checking the details and making sure everything was how I needed it to be.
