Business Information
Carnies are an independent MOT station and car repair centre. We deal with all makes and models of vehicles and all ages. Our MOT station is run to VOSA guidelines. We have up to date electronic diagnostic equipment and we fit tyres, batteries, exhausts and more.
We are confident that you will leave our garage satisfied due to our high quality workmanship as well as our fair and reasonable prices.
We also now offer Diesel Particulate Filter cleaning on-site, using the latest technology. Servicing your diesel particulate filter will:
- Extend the life of the DPF
- Protect your engine
- Save on costly repair bills
- Increase and maintain optimum MPG
The garage is well placed for drop-off, open from 8.00am, we are right beside a Lothian Bus stop for service numbers 22 & 30 and Murrayfield Tram stop is just round the corner.
Carnies are proud to be a certified Dementia Friendly garage.
There is text message reminders for MOT tests and online booking is available on our website.

I've used Carnies for a couple of years now, I wished I'd used them instead of the main dealers before that.
Great customer service trying to fit into my schedule rather than me fit in with them. The mechanic also takes time to explain what and why they're doing.
It's also very handy for dropping the car off and getting into town.
I'll be back :-)

Been using Carnies for over 10 years. Last place I trusted that long was my Barber!
