I had my car mot'd and puncture repaired today. The service given and quality received meant I booked my next service without hesitation. Was good to see true mechanics working on cars and not just someone relying on a computer to tell them what's wrong. Thank you.

I took my car to the garage for its annual service and from start to finish the customer service received was spot on. From getting it booked in a couple weeks before, to turning up on the booked day. The service was completed quickly and efficiently with no hassle and any other factors that came up were clearly communicated to me and resolved. Would recommend Carnies for efficient service and good value for money too.

Edinburgh, Tuesday the 19th of February.
I am a new customer at the firm. M.O.T. was due and a repair to the steering rack, plus "bits and bobs".
My wife had "discovered" this very good garage by pure coincidence on the Trusted Trader of Edinburgh webpage while mainly seeking for a plumber and I have not regretted to give it a go. The test was conducted with no fuss at all, they also fitted in with the date that was most suitable to me. Work was completed rather swiftly with no delays.
This guys have all the qualities some would expect when dealing with the public, you name it and I am certainly not attempting to over praising them by making such a statement, it is the pure truth.
To say the cost of the work done has been extremely reasonable it might be an understatement. When I had later visioned the bill at home I believed they had made a mistake, but at a closer inspection I came to understand there was no error. That was the true cost. Amazed, to say the least!!! I have been taken for a ride to the cleaners all this years with all implausible reasons given of why the repairs to my luxury vehicle always had to be so astronomically expensive and today I was presented with a bill for £112.00 pounds.
I am awarding them with five stars score and an A+++++ for they truly deserve it.
I do highly vouch this "Mechanics".

As I use my motor for work and rely on it the guys go above and beyond to carry out repairs and get my car on the road quickly and efficiently on more then one occasion. Always carry out a top job!

Car booked in for MOT but unfortunately failed due to broken spring, it was clearly explained to us what needed done and what it would cost, A part was ordered and whilst we waited for delivery we were supplied with coffee, on arrival the part was fitted, the MOT redone letting us get on our way

Kev and elliot are great fixed the car in no time at all would highly recommend them to everyone

My car was having some work done at this garage, the customer service was outstanding as was the work. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I took my camper van conversion in to get an MOT and Kev and the guys were brilliant. Was sweating a bit that it was going to be a write off but they made me feel much better about it all when they told me what needed done. Welded chassis beautifully, changed fuel filter and adjusted the brakes in no time at all and even let me hang around and learn a few things!

The age of my vehicle means that it will definitely require more work in the future, but I am now happy I have contact with a team of pros to keep me on the road. Highly recommended.

Very professional and fair wouldn't go anywhere else

After a bad dealership experience (years ago) I tried Carnies as it was close to my workplace. I no longer work near by but the 25 mile drive is worth it. Routine servicing and larger repairs have been done and I have had no issues with any of it. Emergency repairs have been done as quickly as possible. The location is convenient to bus and tram services too. Prices are fair and appropriate. True it doesn't look like an upmarket marque dealership but then YOU end up paying for the expensive tiles on the floor and so on.

It is a shame I can only give five stars as they deserve six!

Highly recommend the Carnies Autocentre. The staff are friendly and trustworthy and really reasonably priced, especially compared to other garages.

The staff are really knowledgable and will give you an honest account of work that needs done.They kept me up to date on the progress of work being carried out and jobs was completed in reasonable time.

I have used them for bigger jobs such as getting cluch replaced as well as servicing and MOT's and would not take my car elsewhere.

Probably the best experience i have had at a garage lately as main dealer wanted far too much money to repair a small item and other garages just wouldn't entertain me but the guys at carnies were great almost felt like family

We were recommended by a neighbour and on two occasions the service provided by Kevin and his Staff has been exemplary. On both of our cars high repair costs were quoted by two nationwide dealers. Carnies carried out the required repairs and provided MOT's at considerably less cost, in one case a third of the price quoted previously. Words fall short in expressing my appreciation to Carnies, the knowledge, professionalism and first class customer care I received was second to none. Furthermore going above and beyond in ordering parts from ebay as it is so difficult to get parts in the UK for a Chrysler not to mention fixing my very heavy cumbersome rear view mirror that would not stay up for love nor money (free of charge I may add) just proves my point on the exceptional customer service and value for money I received at Carnies I cannot thank you enough and HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYONE that is looking for an honest reliable garage.

Been using this garage for over 15 years and have never had a single complaint. The one time they forgot to do something (a brake switch) they fixed it for free and never charged for the part either. It is a well run and friendly business who won't tell you want you hear just the truth. If you want an honest and good value service then look no further. Kevan and his team are excellent.

Have used these guys a good few times now and honestly can't say enough good things about them - great workmanship, they always call to let you know what needs done before doing it, source the best value-for-money parts rather than going with cheap rubbish or wildly overpriced gimmickry, and on top of that - the car always comes back FIXED. None of this coming back later because the problem persists!
