Colin and his team arrived promptly on the date agreed.
The work that was carried out was to replace the Welsh slate under Velux window, remove all rusty ridge straps and supply and fit new galvanised ones and to fit back a lead capping piece which had fallen off. All valleys were painted , lead gutters cleaned out and all debris removed. A tidy job.
All the work was carried out by Darren and Dillon who worked consciously, were very polite and competent. They are a credit to the business.
Colin and his team will be returning before the winter sets in to repair and re-point the sandstone on my cottage.
I would recommend Colin and his team to anyone who wants a professional job doing with tradesmen who know their stuff.

Very pleased with the service provided by L & E Roofing. Colin provided a prompt quote for re-slating a 4m x 3m lower section of leaking roof, to include new close boarding where necessary, breathable membrane, new lead work and overhaul of the old cast-iron skylight. The two actual ‘workers’ – Derek and Dylan – were very good and the ‘new’ roof looks fantastic. Although I knew some of the close boards were rotten and needed replacing, when the slates were totally removed it was obvious that far more boards needed replacing than were originally quoted for and a price increase was justified. Throughout the five days it took, Derek and Dylan worked hard all day, kept me updated and were pleasant and polite. Colin, who always responds quickly to emails/requests, was also a regular visitor. At the end they cleared up all the mess, took down the scaffolding platform in case the scaffolders were slow coming back, and left me a happy customer. While it has taken some months from quote to completion (weather, work load, holidays etc played a big part), I will want L & E Roofing back when it is time to overhaul the next section of my 150 year old roof.

Ridge tile and flashing repairs. Colin responded to our call very quickly and came down the same day to give us a quote. Repair carried out the following day. We are very happy with Colin's work and would have no hesitation in calling on him for any future repairs.

Colin came and gave us a quote very quickly which we accepted. The two guys who work with him were polite and worked right through until job was complete. They tidied up and took all the rubbish etc away. Very pleased with the job and would recommend them.

We had gallons of water coming through our ceiling during the recent spate of torrential rain. We were recommended to contact Colin by our neighbour. Colin came out quickly and went up to have a look. He ended up fixing a slipped slate, clearing out detritus from the top of the downpipe and repointing some adjacent stonework - all for a very reasonable price. Colin was polite and professional at all times.

We engaged L&E Roofing to rectify work that had been carried out by another company that wasn't functioning. From the first contact with Maryann to the completion of the job, our experience was like night and day compared to the previous contractors. Colin gave us a very fair and honest assessment of this prior work and how to fix the issue. Colin recently repaired some storm damage to the fascia boards of our home extension. This was the third time we've used Colin for roofing work/repairs in the past couple of years. Colin and his team have looked after our (very old) roof for a number of years in terms of annual checks and maintenance, re-roofing an extension, and more recently completed replacement of roof lights and some storm damage repair.
