Colin was only one of the three trusted traders roofers I contacted to actually get back to me. He responded to my initial enquiry within 15 minutes and came to assess the work within 2 days. He had his team out the next week.
His team worked very efficiently and took only a few hours to do what we needed - general repointing works, replacing missing slates, clearing our gutters, replacing a broken lead flashing, repairing a leaking cast iron gutter and re sealing some edges of our flat roof. His pricing is very, very reasonable - genuine value for money. We have since approved a second quote for some additional minor building work that his team can also undertake. We hope to sell our house this year but if that doesn’t happen we’ll definitely be asking him to completely replace our flat roof. Would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.

Really small job on a leaking drainpipe which lots of tradesman might not have thought was worth their while, but Colin came out no problem. Fixed it on the spot and then even used the hosepipe to check the repair had worked. Friendly, helpful and always responds to emails. Would highly recommend.

I am totally delighted with the whole experience and service provided by L & E Roofing. On my initial telephone enquiry I spoke to a lovely helpful lady called MaryAnn and even though I was not sure if the slightly uneven ridge tile on my roof was in need of repair MaryAnn immediately assured me that they would come and inspect it and provide me with the best advice. They lost no time and came the very next day to do the inspection. Colin and Gary were so genuine and sincere. With no hesitation, Colin climbed up to the roof for a closer inspection. Fortunately Colin could see there was no damage done to the ridge tile and it was totally secure. Colin confirmed there was no need for any repair.

The garage was leaking. Colin was prompt and reliable. He turned up to see the problem when he said he would, discussed what was wrong ,and did the work very efficiently. He also connected the down pipe into the waterbut properly.I intend using him again soon.

We had the flat roof on our garage redone. Colin was easily contactable before and during the work, responding quickly to arrange an estimate, arranging a date for the job to be done etc.
Colin and his team arrived on time and worked steadily to complete the job within 2 days. Very friendly, efficient service and would definitely use them again.

We have used Colin for many years and find his service very good. He regularly checks our roof and does any repairs needed. He comes when he says he will and has proved very reliable and helpful over the years. He recently did some work for my daughter and she too was delighted with the work done.

Storm damage to roof tiles and cement work. Replied to call within couple of days baring in mind after storms lots of damage to roofs. Maryann got Colin out in a few days,price quoted which was good. Colin came with a recommendation. There was good communication as multiple changes were requested with roofing work and a series of quotes were provided quickly and efficiently. Work carried out to a high standard, daily pictures sent to show me where we were up to along with those of the completed works. Work finished quickly with no mess left behind. Competitive price so very happy overall.

Job 1 - I had harling removed and re-done and gutters cleaned and painted. During this job the large front window sill was found to be crumbling, Colin repaired this making it wind and water tight. He also came back and replaced guttering, checking it several times and re-painted not only the gutters but also the front of the house.

Job 2 - roof repair. This was done quickly and efficiently over 3 days with 400 tiles being replaced.

Colin and his team are hard working and polite and Colin takes time to explain the ongoing work.

Colin was quick to respond and inspect the site, was clear and effective in his communications and provided a very professional service replacing zinc and hip ridges and many missing slates as well as remortaring the skews. The job was completed quickly and to a high standard, and even a few extra slates were replaced at no additional cost. Colin was extremely professional throughout. Thoroughly recommended.

Used L&E roofing for the second time after a great repair previously.

Came out and quoted swiftly for myself and also my in laws, was honest and said we would need to wait a little bit as he was busy (understandable when they provide a good service). Job complete this morning on my own home and in laws and both happy with completed job. If we have any further issues L&E roofing would be my first port of call and I would recommend them to any one else as well!!

Colin replied to my enquiry promptly and courteously.He also agreed to carry out our gutter cleaning at short notice due to my concerns. The work was carried out safely and efficiently by Colin and his colleague and they advised me of the importance of regular future maintenance in a supportive and friendly manner.I was also happy with the price charged.

Pigeon spikes were added to areas that had not been done by a previous contractor.
Removed 3 nests and guano on tiles.
Cleaned gutters.
Replaced slates.
Changed gulleys which were rotten.

I had seen work carried out by L&E Roofing on a house nearby and through all stages the work looked good so when my chimney roughcast needed repair I contacted Colin. His response with the estimate was very quick and efficient. He always kept me fully informed of each stage of work from scaffolding, materials and job progress. The men turned up on time, worked hard, kept the site tidy and finished off the chimney roughcast to a high spec. The site was all cleaned up and scaffolding removed soon after. All in all I am delighted with the work and will call Colin again if more roof work required. Thanks to all his team.
