I had all my gutters replaced. They guys were great. Very friendly and polite. Work was carried out quickly and well done. All waste was removed and outside area was left very clean and tidy.
Would definitely use again.

L & E Roofing renewed a large flat roof, replaced my ridge, fitted vent tiles and installed uPVC trims on the front and rear roof verge.

When Colin from L & E first came to quote for the work I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Initially he quoted me for installation of a new rubber membrane on the flat roof and then subsequently for the ridge and verge. The quote was very reasonable for the work getting done.
They first came to do the flat roof which was completed over a few days. I am very happy with the quality of workmanship and with the guys that did the work.
They then came back to carry out the work on the ridge and verge. They installed a new dry ridge system which involved removal of the whole old ridge and cement work. They then explained to me that a plastic "tree" was installed onto which the new ridge tiles are fastened. Unlike the old cement fixed ridge, this should be maintenance free.
When installing the verge trims they actually spent a day putting some up which then then removed the next day as they weren't 100% satisfied with how they were sitting. I was very impressed with this as it showed their professionalism and commitment to the quality of their work.
Due to this, the work ended up taking them longer than they expected and they actually did much more than originally quoted for. I was more than happy to pay for this extra work but Colin refused to take a penny more than he had quoted.
I would have L & E Roofing back in AA heartbeat if I need anything else done!

Had some problems with damp in one of our bedrooms so asked L and E Roofing to take a look, turns out the whole outside wall was damp, and they identified lots of problems with the wall, parts of the roof, a chimney that need resurfacing and vegetation growing from the wall.

Couldn't be happier with the work, all of the problema above were dealt with. The work was done very quickly and the guys were very professional throughout amd we were impressed with how tidy the area was after they left each night. The nature of the problem meant that they were working in our elderly neighbours garden, and they were very respectful towards her.

Communication was excellent throughout, and there were no surprise changes to the agreed quote, so very happy with everything.

Would definately work with L and E Roofing again in the future.

I contacted Colin when some harling became loose and started falling to the ground. He arrived the next day to look at it and immediately went up on to the roof and made it as safe as possible as a temporary measure. He showed us photos of the problems and also the broken roof tiles where the harling had smashed down onto them. He sent an estimate that evening, which we accepted and agreed he would start the work asap. Unfortunately the weather quickly caused even more damage and Colin and his men arrived within a couple of days to start work. They were quick, tidy, efficient and very friendly. Colin kept us informed of the progress by email and photos each evening. They tidied up as they went along and we are extremely happy with the work. We would definately recommend them. So a very big thank you to Colin and crew at L & E Roofing.

L and E roofing were very quick to respond to our inquiry and they fixed our roof within a matter of days of us contacting them.

This was a roof repair following the recent big storm. The initial visit to assesss and give an estimate was undertaken quickly and the quote provided soon thereafter. The work has been completed efficiently and satisfactorily. All staff involved on the job and on the phone were very friendly, helpful and professional. Super efficient right from initial contact. Quickly out to inspect roof and provided quote that afternoon. Happy to accept it and they were able to carry out works sooner than we expected.

Cannot fault Colin and his team. We had a roof leak that required replacement tiles, felt etc. We were sent photos of the work undertaken once completed, which was reassuring. Communication, service and end result were all excellent. Very tidy work and left no mess - bonus! Would definitely recommend and use again should the occasion arise.

When ridge tiles had been blown of due to a very bad storm, I had no hesitation in ‘phoning Colin, (I’ve used his company before) he came out within an hour, explained in a professional and friendly way what needed to be done and true to his word, a few days later, his men arrived to do the work, they were very polite and friendly and got the work done. I have nothing but praise for Colin and his Company, he is always quick to respond and prices are very competitive, would definitely recommend them.

Very impressed with L&E. We requested Colin come and inspect our roof for an estimate to retile some old tiles. A roofer promptly came out and inspected the roof, with a written and professional quote from Colin given promptly afterwards. Booked the work and two roofers worked efficiently and very professional. Tidy work and Colin ensured he was available for any queries. Invoice came exactly as quoted. All emails answered quickly and professionally. Would use this company again.

After 2 weeks of overflowing gutters causing ingress of water into my property and two other tradesmen looking at it and giving me hefty quotes L and E Roofing came out within a couple of hours and upon thorough inspection discovered my problem was due to a blocked downspout and proceeded to unblock it for me, free of charge!! They gave me good advice about maintenance, may have saved me a lot of money and were absolute gentleman. I can't thank them enough

Having previously used L&E Roofing for our old house, when we discovered roofing issues with our new one we knew that Colin and his team would help us quickly and professionally. We needed a whole new roof, repairs to wood, all new slates, chimneys to be fixed - the works. Colin inspected our roof very quickly and gave us a comprehensive account of what needed done with a quote sent across to us that evening. Since we live in a conservation area, we needed planning permission for the slate change; Colin was very knowledgeable about which slates would be appropriate and in keeping with the house and area. After receiving planning permission, Colin was able to start quickly and his team were on site as expected and immediately got on with the job. Despite the bad weather (snow, wind and hail), Colin and his team worked hard and got our roof done to a high standard. Colin also recommended approved traders such as a joiner and painter which we used for associated works. Happy with all of his work and his recommendations. Colin is a professional and we trust his work and his word. Will use for all our roofing needs.

I have just had my whole roof stripped and re slated. The work has been carried out in a very professional manner by all the people involved. I am extremely pleased with the work and will certainly use this company again.

Appointment made and Colin came the next day to see the problem and give me a quote. Very efficiently sent by e-mail which I accepted. They arrived within four to five days. Did and excellent job and cleaned up all the mess and took it away.
