Our roof was very badly damaged in Storm Arwen, with loose felt flapping dangerously. John attended the day after (Saturday) to make it safe even though he was really busy with other call outs. He then provided photos and a quote quickly for insurance purposes and carried out the repairs very quickly following approval. Despite quite a few issues with the roof, the team carried out a difficult repair very professionally, always keeping us abreast of the issues they were facing and clearing all the debris from the site. I have had quite a few roofers in the past, John’s work seems to be better quality and good value. He always did what he said he would, which is a good start!

Remedial work after Storm Arwen. Fascia to rear slope of roof removed; new timber batten, PVC fascia board and verge fitted (with all fixings and fittings). The work was well organised and done in good time. We have no reason to believe it was not completed to a very high standard (we were away at the time, but our neighbours were very impressed with the workmanship). My thanks for removing all the associated debris from the site and for a very good job done.

The J&D team carried out extensive repairs to our clubhouse roof and solved a problem that has plagued us for many years. The standard of work was first class, the guys carried out additional work and still came in well below the original estimate.

This company was recommended to us. They turned up when they said they would and completed repair to broken gutttering very quickly. They were very friendly and and polite. The cost was extremely reasonable. Would recommend this company and use them again.

The flat roof areas of the house extension, garage and porch were all renewed using traditional felt. Job completed in 2 days as the team worked continuously with mininimum breaks. They were friendly, the finish looks good and all mess was cleared away.

My elderly Mother had water leaking into a bedroom and it appeared to be due to a problem with her roof.
Emailed J & D Roofing at 10pm and was contacted at 9.30am the following morning. Roofers arrived 30 minutes later. After searching roof and attic the hole was found and promptly repaired.

John estimated for the work quickly after his visit and we were fortunate that he gave the job priority as our roof was leaking badly. A faulty zinc watergate was replaced with lead which gives a much neater appearance, better functionality and longevity. The team did a great job and left everything neat and tidy. I would certainly recommend this company and would use them for future work.

The team replaced our facias, gutters, and downpipes and installed a new dry verge system. They also removed the concrete ridge tiles from the roof and replaced them. We were very satisfied with the work undertaken. John and his team were professional, courteous and reliable. The work was undertaken on schedule and the team tidied up after themselves. When I noticed on a Sunday that a water was getting in through the roof of my bay window, I contacted J&D Roofing through their website. They phoned me first thing on Monday morning and sent a man out to inspect the site within 90 minutes. He applied a temporary fix and a week later the work was completed.
This is a friendly, reliable firm, with good customer service. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

The job included removal of weeds from roof, taking off coping stones and re cementing and renewing cement skews which required scaffolding to be put up for access.
Very content with the way the job was done, efficient and professional service from J&D Roofing- I would happily recommend them and would use again.
