We have been trading for 12 years catering for domestic, commercial and industrial clients throughout Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian.
We carry out all aspects of roofing work from overhauls to total renewals and also carry out the following: New natural slate roofs, tiled roofs, chimneys, guttering, downpipes, lead and cement work.

John and his team stripped and insulated and reroofed our flat roof kitchen extension, checked pitch roof replacing broken/missing slates and renewed gutters, removed old velux window and installed new velux windows.
From initial survey, quotation and then to the actual work we were happy with John’s advice and the efficiency of the team. Very neat and tidy!

The work which we had done was new insulation all roofs. We also got our pitched tiled and flat roofs replaced.
The lads were friendly and polite and tidy up every evening and worked none stop. Would recommend them..

John and team have been extremely helpful & polite and clearly have a huge amount of experience and expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues.

Two men cleaned out the gutters at my mother's property. A difficult part was the gutter in a V between the bungalow roof and a glass conservatory which was done with no damage.
I had previously used J&D for reroofing a garage and extension at my own property so was happy to use them again.

Tracing and sealing a leak where its position on the roof was not obvious. The friendly roofers kept me in the picture throughout the process: they fixed the fault and tidied up afterwards.

Cement at verges of roof was removed, replaced to bed in tiles and then re-pointed.
Very pleased with the way the roofers set about the work and tidied up on completion. Would be happy to see them again if the need arises.

J&D Roofing have recently replaced our roof (including two smaller extensions) along with UPC downpipes, gutters, etc. and we couldn't be happier with the work that John and his team have done. They are a hard working and conscientious team who work to a very high standard. We definitely recommend J&D Roofing and will be asking them to do annual roof checks going forward to keep it in tip top condition. Looking forward to a winter where we don't have to panic every time it rains!

Replace existing roof with new sarking, membrane and tiles. Excellent service from John and his team, from the itemised estimate within 24hrs to the invoice which matched the estimate with no hidden surprises. Very friendly and efficient team who completed the job in 4 days during which temperatures reached 30 degrees. They turned up on time and worked all day every day and once work was completed they left the site as they found removing all rubbish, sweeping and hosing the paths. Delighted with the quality of work and finish.
