Two men cleaned out the gutters at my mother's property. A difficult part was the gutter in a V between the bungalow roof and a glass conservatory which was done with no damage.
I had previously used J&D for reroofing a garage and extension at my own property so was happy to use them again.

Tracing and sealing a leak where its position on the roof was not obvious. The friendly roofers kept me in the picture throughout the process: they fixed the fault and tidied up afterwards.

Cement at verges of roof was removed, replaced to bed in tiles and then re-pointed.
Very pleased with the way the roofers set about the work and tidied up on completion. Would be happy to see them again if the need arises.

J&D Roofing have recently replaced our roof (including two smaller extensions) along with UPC downpipes, gutters, etc. and we couldn't be happier with the work that John and his team have done. They are a hard working and conscientious team who work to a very high standard. We definitely recommend J&D Roofing and will be asking them to do annual roof checks going forward to keep it in tip top condition. Looking forward to a winter where we don't have to panic every time it rains!

Replace existing roof with new sarking, membrane and tiles. Excellent service from John and his team, from the itemised estimate within 24hrs to the invoice which matched the estimate with no hidden surprises. Very friendly and efficient team who completed the job in 4 days during which temperatures reached 30 degrees. They turned up on time and worked all day every day and once work was completed they left the site as they found removing all rubbish, sweeping and hosing the paths. Delighted with the quality of work and finish.

John and his team did a great job repairing and replacing some ridge tiles and roof tiles that had come off during the winter storms. They worked away while I was at work and when I got home the roof looked great and there was no mess or any other evidence that there had been workmen there. Would definitely recommend.

We needed repairs to our roof following storm damage earlier this year. John and his team have provided excellent service. John replied quickly to my initial contact, completed a full assessment of the roof and identified issues we weren't aware of. The work was scheduled in quickly and his team completed the job with minimum disruption. John was recommended to us by a neighbour and we highly recommend him also.

However, there was quite a delay between agreeing the job and getting started. Emergency work following 2022 storm damage in East Lothian was largely responsible for the delay.

Once again, John and his team did an excellent job. This time they did some work on some outbuildings - including complete re-roof. Whole team of up to 5 at a time, worked hard and produced high quality work that I am sure will see us good for many many years to come. Great communication - turned up as expected - left site clean and tidy. Good advice given throughout.

John was very communicative throughout the whole process. He kept me informed of start dates and costs and his team started exactly on time. The whole job was finished much quicker than I expected and appears to have been done to a very high standard.
I have spoken to two sets of neighbours who were both very complimentary of how professional and helpful they were throughout.
Costs were about average for the quotes we obtained.
Highly recommended and would definitely go straight to John in the future.
