Engineer arrived to asses work that needed to done, he advised on what boiler was required for my property. Boiler was ordered and date decided for installation. Very happy with this service.

The two engineers who arrived to install boiler arrived on time, I was very impressed as when they arrived they put down dust sheets all over my carpets and floor. They were both very polite and respectful of my property. Boiler was installed & I was shown what I needed to know.
All rubbish was taken away and everything tidied up.

Andy and his team showed up at the arranged time and got on with the job. Our new boiler was fitted in 1 day. Old boiler was removed and the guys left the place the way they found it. Would highly recommend their services.

Had an oldish drippy kitchen tap, and Andy came out as per schedule on time, was wonderfully knowledgeable and friendly and sorted it promptly. Even the admin staff were helpful and fab. Would definitely be my first call going forward for anything plumbing related. 10 out of 10.

I had contacted this firm to have an old Baxi gas fire removed. I initially spoke to Robbie
on Tuesday 27 th and I explained what I wanted done. He was very helpful and gave me a rough idea of cost. Appointment was made for Friday 30 th. Taylor arrived and completed the work to my satisfaction. He explained every thing that he was going to do and cleared up afterwards. He is an honest hardworking young man and is credit to the firm of McRoberts. When the invoice came in I was very relieved that it was well within the price range Robbie had quoted me. I will certainly have no hesitation in using this firm again. I told Taylor that I would be able to finish off the plastering when I redecorate the room.

Speedy response to a boiler issue , seen the same day . Receptionist on telephone was friendly , polite and helpful. Used this company to service my Warmflow boiler and the engineer replaced a gasket, first without advising me of this and second, incorrectly. This caused my boiler to continuously cut out so engineer came back out however he couldn't find reason why. A more senior engineer came out to look and also couldn't find the reason so he advised he would order a snorkel as he didn't know what else it could be and left the boiler exposed to the elements. Boiler then stopped working altogether leaving me with no heating or hot water. I called and advised I have a 12 week old baby at home and needed someone out however they didn't have anyone who dealt with oil until the next day. I said I'd need to instruct another company and would bill them however the manager told me 'to do that then' and hung up on me. Further calls to the owner gif worse telling us it was our fault and he wasn't sending anyone. We moved out for the night until another company came and diagnosed the gasket had been fitted incorrectly, so replaced it in minutes. I've never been spoken to and lied about the way this company has.

Whilst I had a morning appointment booked, the engineer did not arrive until early afternoon which I understand was because of two other earlier appointments had run over time. Had a leak in bathroom within the vanity unit. The two drawers of the unit were expertly removed and replaced and the leak was made good. My only slight disappointment was that shoe protectors could have been worn straight away rather than when a bit of a mess had developed. However, the mess was cleaned up before leaving the job which was good to see. Overall, this was my first experience with McRoberts and I would definitely recommend. Was given a quote before the job was undertaken and there were no nasty surprises as the cost matched the quote.

The service, knowledge and professionalism at McRoberts is exceptional. Their prices are fair and I have not had a quote where I have felt it was too expensive. As a landlord , the value McRoberts bring to my business is immense, they deal with the logistic and liaise with tenants, removing the management stress from me. I trust McRoberts judgement and know they will deliver the job without issues, to a high standard. Since using McRoberts I have had them replace two boilers, re-plumb the systems, rectify poor workmanship from another contractor and do landlord gas safety checks. I will continue to use their services and highly recommend them to any other business or individual.

minor problem with condensate pipe from boiler phoned today at 11.20 am engineer arrived same day at 14.00 and fixed problem in 10 minutes-excellent !

Andy did an excellent job, very tidy, left no mess and worked hard all day. Also supplied and fitted hive controls and fitted new thermostat and unblocked radiator. Very impressed and would have no hesitation recommending.
