I needed someone to pick up furniture in Ayr and deliver to me in Kilmarnock. They were highly responsive to my WhatsApp messages and gave me a good price.

We have relied on Burnside Roofing for the past approximately 5 years to keep our older roof in good shape and Colin and the guys have never let us down. We found Burnside after some previous dodgy roof work and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Colin clearly knows his stuff and he and the guys are reliable, punctual, friendly and helpful. Colin explains everything, offers an honest assessment and sends photos of before and after. This was very much appreciated. Iain arrived a few hours after I called (it wasn't an emergency) and I explained I couldn't lock my back door from the outside. It took him a few minutes to remove the lock barrel, realign the lock and replace it. I had to push him to accept some money as he said he was passing on his way home and it only took a few minutes. He obviously was experienced in his field, very professional and easy to talk to. Another locksmith (who has many positive reviews) quoted £135 to replace the lock which he judged to be worn without any inspection. I am happy to recommend Iain and will call him again if I need a locksmith
