John and his team did a fantastic job installing a solar PV array and battery storage.
Work was started on the day stated and amazingly it was all done by lunchtime!
John was very careful and respectful of the house, laying dustsheets before starting work.
He can be tricky to get hold of, but that's only testament to how busy he his.
Very happy and would recommend John and his team to friends and family.

A year ago John installed ceiling lights and a solar panel/battery set up at my home. The installation of the battery and panels was completed quickly and competently in one day. Since then a few minor problems with communication with the monitoring app for the battery which were quicky resolved. Very pleased with the purchase.

I ordered 14 solar panels, an inverter and a 5 Kw battery from John and we agreed on an installation date of the end of January 2023. The equipment arrived on Friday and the system was installed the following Monday. The electrical technicians arrived early, worked continuously for about 9 hours and did an excellent job; they were polite, courteous and always willing to answer my questions. Overall, an excellent job.

John McIntosh Electrical was one of four providers I considered. On selecting a provider I was interested in a balance of quality, cost and reassurance that I was dealing with a reputable company that would provide the level of service I required both during and after installation; John’s company provided exactly what I was after.

My system has now been installed for three weeks, my electrical imports from the grid have more than halved and most days I am exporting an equal amount, if not more, back to the grid. Considering this is February, one of the four months when solar generation is at its least effective due to the amount of sunlight, I am thoroughly impressed with the results thus far.

Overall, I am a highly satisfied customer and one that would strongly recommend John McIntosh Electrical to anyone considering installing a solar system.

Solar invert supplied and fitted within a week of contact with the tradesman. Very satisfied with the work done.

John and Darren have done a couple of jobs for me. Firstly, supply and installation of an EV charger and battery storage. Latterly, supply and fit additional battery storage, rewiring work and powercut auto back-up switch, and replacement of an expired (other supplier/fitter) solar inverter.

John snd Darren are cheery, knowledgeable and helpful, providing useful explanation and practical solutions. Their pre and post-work communication is excellent. They are punctual and neat in their work, with a focus on quality, tidying up afterwards without being asked.
