Best service from John McIntosh Electrical. We had a solar panel system fitted with them last year and everything works smoothly. Today we had EV charger and fuse box changed as well. Very tidy and professional job done. Definitely will be back when needed. Can't recommend them highly enough :)

I had a EV charger installed at my house. John recommended the product and I was happy to accept his recommendation. The install was done by Darren who did a great job. He ran the cable under the floor to the garage so no unsightly cables outside. The installation is very neat and tidy and I would definitely recommend this company

Installation of a Solis battery tied system to our existing solar panel system, including a new inverter and battery in the loft. Connection of an App to enable remote monitoring of performance.
From first contact to final installation, this trader was helpful and straightforward to deal with. The installation was completed in a single day without fuss, and everything was left clean and tidy - no mess.

Having had work done by John before I phoned him for advice recently about a cooker hob which had "lost" two of its rings, He said he would come out the following day on his way home and see what the best way of dealing with it was. He came in as promised and quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Really appreciated his willingness to help out so quickly and at very reasonable cost.

We had 12 solar panels and all the associated bits required fitted to our house today, the fitters arrived on time, worked hard and completed the job in what I would term a really quick time. The work was tidy and very neat despite some of it being in not the easiest place for access being located inside a kitchen unit lower cupboard.
Prior to the installation today, John himself kept us informed at every stage of the work which was excellent and the sign of a good company.
We hadn’t had any electrical work done by John McIntosh before but we are very pleased with the performance of the whole team today.

Installation of solar system plus battery and connection for external generator. Very pleased with fast, professional job . Price was very good . Would certainly recommend this firm.

I had an AC coupled inverter and 9.5kwH GivEnergy battery installed. Excellent service and advice throughout. Attention to written records of discussions could be improved; the contractors recollection of their site inspection, six months after it occurred, differed from my written minutes taken and distributed immediately after the inspection. Thankfully their lack of attention did not give rise to any significant issues on site. Quality of workmanship was up to expectations.

Would highly recommend this small local team. Very efficient, reliable and work completed to a very high standard. Would definitely use them again be it for PAT tests or electrical repairs or rewiring.

Excellent from start to finish. Solar PV and battery system plus car charger and other electrical works. Listened to questions and concerns and always able to provide solutions. Car charger installation was particulary tricky due to nature of property but outcome excellent. Very neat and tidy work.

We had John and his team do roof work to install Solar PV and Battery storage. Roofers worked diligently with our old roof. All connected up, working and trackable from the moment it was switched on. John was great for communicating quickly for all on site work and helping with paperwork registration on job completion. Highly recommend and we will use again.

John and his team installed 3.1Kw solar pv and 5kw battery storage.
The installation was completed in a single day and no damage or unsightly trunking left on the walls. The whole install is very tidy and John and his team tidied up everything before leaving the property. He also monitored the system to ensure it was performing as it should, there was a small issue with the invertor but this was quickly identified and remedied by altering settings on the invertor.
All paperwork and certification was carried out and supplied promptly.

I would not hesitate to recommend John to anyone requiring electrical work carried out and he will be my first contact for any future electrical works I need doing in the future.

John installed electric into my garage for me in a new build property, with mini RCD, sockets and lights. He was prompt, helpful, asked good questions to help do some future proofing and was easy to communicate with and get a hold of.
Quote was good value for money compared with others, where there was unskilled labour I could do he was happy to suggest it, and had materials delivered in good time for me to do it.
