I recently got Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating Ltd to replace my old boiler. They were helpful from the start and happy to answer my queries about the work required and the quote. They also kept me up to date via email and text on all appointments. When the time came for job to be completed the engineer arrived on time, got through the work within the time specified and left everything tidy. He also put in extra effort when fitting in a replacement pipe to make sure that everything was neatly hidden away and explained how the new boiler controls worked. I’m delighted with the service provided and would highly recommend them based on my positive experience.

From start to finish - the initial enquiry, visit to assess faults, works needed, quote and finished job, Scott Findlay were efficient and professional. Johnny, the heating engineer, carried out the removal of old boiler and radiators, then the installation of the new boiler and five radiators, always tidying up before he left for the day. He was prompt, friendly, well organised and when the work was done, clearly explained how the new system worked and how to best use the controls to suit my individual needs. Over and above this, he sorted a leak at the back of my toilet; this was a particularly dirty and awkward job and I was most appreciative of him getting stuck in and fixing it! Thanks Johnny and all at Scott Findlay. Highly recommended.

I was very happy with the installation of the boiler. Everything was cleared away during and after the job. Happy that there were not many floorboards taken up at all. The engineer turned up on time and explained the operating instructions after installation. A small issue was dealt with quickly and this was sorted out the next day. So overall was happy and would recommend this company.

We contracted Scott Findlay Heating engineers to remove a back boiler and install a new combi boiler in my mother's home.

Brian and Cameron arrived sharp each morning, and there was great communication from the office advising when to expect them each morning.

The removal of the back boiler was concerning my mother, as she envisioned having to replace the fire surround as well as the carpet due to the mess she was expecting when the boiler was taken out. Imagine her surprise when she arrived home to find the room spotless and fire around intact. The rest of the install went equally as well, with the men keeping us up to date with all the work carried out each evening. They even resolved small plumbing issues in the house they found while installing the boiler.

On the final day Brian took lots of time to explain to myself and my mother how the heating control panel worked, making sure we were comfortable with how it worked before leaving.

Having used Scott Findlay many times before, the friendliness and attention to detail all the engineers show did not surprise me, and it continues to be the reason I will not hesitate to recommend them to all family and friends.

I recently had my boiler replaced and I honestly wouldn't use any other company. I had good advice over which option to choose, appointments were made and adhered to. When an unexpected problem occurred and a part was needed, every effort was made to procure it in a timely fashion. It's heartening and unusual to have a company that has old fashioned customer values and it is much appreciated.

Scott Findlay installed a new boiler for me after my old boiler was found to unfit for use. They were very helpful, courteous and a pleasure to use. Their engineers turned up on time when they were supposed to do so and did an excellent job of installing the new boiler with minimum disruption. An engineer came out to fix the boiler at very short notice to keep it going until the new one was installed which was much appreciated as the weather was freezing. dilemma - fix old boiler or fit new? fast response plus excellent communication as SFP supplied quotes for both jobs so that I could decide - and no regrets that I chose them to replace the old boiler. the work was carried out with the minimum of fuss and maximum satisfaction.

Installation of new boiler following a breakdown. Very quick response to breakdown, and work to install new boiler carried out within a couple of days. Very professional heating engineer did the work, and communication with him and office all effective. Would definitely use again.
