Mark Smith Glazing provides professional domestic and commercial glazing services across Edinburgh and the Lothians. We specialise in high-quality uPVC windows and doors, secondary glazing, and commercial glazing solutions.
Our uPVC range includes front and back doors, French and patio doors, sliding doors, real wood grain sash and case, tilt & turn, fully reversible and casement windows – all energy efficient, secure, and low maintenance.
We supply and install made-to-measure secondary glazing (horizontal, vertical, hinged and lift-out systems), ideal for noise reduction, listed buildings and conservation areas.
Our commercial glazing services cover shop fronts, entrances, replacement units, safety glass, fire-rated glass and same-day repairs.
We also offer composite, timber, aluminium and Crittall-style glazing, plus specialist glass, mirrors, splashbacks and repairs.

Just had new sliding doors fitted to replace patio doors with fixed panes either side and I can’t believe the transformation. Really delighted with the product and service. Mark came to measure up, quote was emailed promptly and once accepted a fitting date was booked in. Fitters arrived this morning m, really friendly abc professional and they did such a clean, tidy job I’m really impressed. All in all I wouldn’t see past this company and would highly recommend .

We recently order a large piece of glass for our greenhouse. Our request was handled quickly and glass delivered on the date estimated. The team who made the delivery, observed current social distancing measure and were courteous and extremely helpful.
We’ve used Mark Smith for bigger jobs in the past so it was good to see the same level of service for a small project too.

Had a huge mirror installed across one side of bathroom, it was an awkward space because of the shower screen but the guys did a smashing job. Really quick to reply to my emails in the organisation of the job, turned up on time, 2 polite gentlemen fitted the mirror really quickly. It looks brilliant and I am really happy.

I have used Mark Smith Glazing on a number of occasions now and have always found them great to work with. They are prompt at responding to requests and the staff are all very polite and helpful. The windows have all been fitted on time and without any issues. When one window needed a minor adjustment this was carried out quickly and without any hassle. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Marks team did a first class job from start to finish. Two tricky new traditional Sash and case 12 pane windows measured and fitted to perfection.

The gasket on one of my double glazed windows needed to be replaced. Mark Smith's employee came round to assess the job then arranged a date to carry out the work. All this was done in a friendly, efficient manner and at a good price. I have used this firm before and would do so again. Thanks!

After being let down by some other glazing companies I approached Mark to get a quote for secondary glazing. I spoke with the very friendly office manager who arranged an appointment that week. Mark came out to measure up - he was prompt, polite and professional and I had the quote emailed to me in the time he promised. The work was carried out to a very high standard, by two professional installers and I will be using their services again for additional secondary glazing work. Highly recommended.

Our house has been transformed and the anthracite grey, rather than white, is an absolutely stunning look and finish. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company to anyone else.

Highly recommended. No hard-sell just a measurement and a very reasonable quote. They were more than happy to keep the price low by not replacing window surrounds (unlike some companies who quoted us). Did the job quickly in the day they said they would, cleaned up afterwards, the new windows are great! Will use again to upgrade the downstairs windows once we've saved a little more.

Had 5 uPVC windows installed after my original wooden framed ones were rotting away. Had already had issues from another glazing company fitting 2 other windows a few years ago so was wary and did a lot of research before contacting Mark Smith glazing to fit the rest. I couldn't find any negative reviews and I can see why.
They were very prompt to come and do all the measuring up and the guys fitting the windows did a cracking job.
I'll definitely be getting in touch soon to get a new front door fitted once I've saved up again!
