Mark Smith Glazing provides professional domestic and commercial glazing services across Edinburgh and the Lothians. We specialise in high-quality uPVC windows and doors, secondary glazing, and commercial glazing solutions.
Our uPVC range includes front and back doors, French and patio doors, sliding doors, real wood grain sash and case, tilt & turn, fully reversible and casement windows – all energy efficient, secure, and low maintenance.
We supply and install made-to-measure secondary glazing (horizontal, vertical, hinged and lift-out systems), ideal for noise reduction, listed buildings and conservation areas.
Our commercial glazing services cover shop fronts, entrances, replacement units, safety glass, fire-rated glass and same-day repairs.
We also offer composite, timber, aluminium and Crittall-style glazing, plus specialist glass, mirrors, splashbacks and repairs.

From the initial consultation to the installation of our bi-fold doors Mark and his team were first class. Mark was recommended to us by two different people and we weren’t disappointed. Nothing was too much trouble, the fitters were excellent and we are delighted with the end result.

Mark and his team installed new patio doors onto my balcony. I needed them because water was leaking from underneath my old doors through into the ceiling of the flat below.
The service of the company was exemplary. They answered phones and replied to messages promptly; carefully considered all the needs of the location (exposure to weather, noise etc); obtained doors for me at some speed, and installed them carefully, efficiently, neatly and cleanly.
The company might not be the cheapest, but for good service and high quality work they represent excellent value, and I would recommend them highly.

The quality of the product is excellent, and the installation job carried out was top notch. Mark came round himself and gave us advice about what we should do to improve the glazing in our flat. Other companies had been recommending expensive double glazing products but Mark said we would be better off using single glazing - which was sigificantly cheaper but would maintain our original windows and solve our draught problem. We were really impressed by Mark's professionalism and that he would recommend a cheaper option rather than push us as other firms had done into more expensive and potentially less good options.
The glazing itself is excellent, v discrete and keeps our house nice and warm now.

The door fitting survey was carried out promptly and I received an estimate for the work proposed which I accepted readily.
The two composite door fitters arrived when agreed and their heads were down until they had finished the job.
Both were very pleasant took Covid protective precautions throughout and did a very professional job in my opinion.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark Smith Glazing and his team on price, efficiency and pleasant service.

I had my single glazed windows upgraded to double and following a number of quotes I decided to go for Mark Smith Glazing, due to the competitive quote returned and the positive reviews that I had read.
Prior to the works, their team was very responsive and all preparatory information was provided in a timely fashion. The installation team were: on-time each day, very efficient, tidy, friendly and respectful throughout the work. I was working from home throughout the works and the whole process caused me virtually no disruption. The workmanship was excellent and with the job being completed on time and to budget I couldn't have really asked for more!
In summary, I was very satisfied with the whole experience of dealing with Mark Smith Glazing. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering having double glazing fitted.

The exterior was covered with shiplap cladding.
The result is stunning and we are beyond delighted.
This was the third and largest project undertaken for us by Mark Smith and his team. They are experienced workers who are unfailingly pleasant and prepared to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Their workmanship is excellent and has been the subject of many compliments.
We would recommend them without reservation.

Mark and his team were brilliant in every regard. They responded quickly to my initial query, gave a very competitive quote, turned up on time every time and had a lovely friendly manner. Other companies I spoke to initially stated that I couldnt get secondary glazing and still have working shutters. Mark fitted the secondary glazing which has made a huge difference to the warmth in the flat and I still have working shutters. I am delighted. Thank you.
