New light fitting on high ceiling. Prompt and reliable service. Electrician turned up on time, was professional and friendly - work carried out to a high stand. Would definitely recommend and will use again.

We’ve had Lumen do various pieces of work, from changing circuit boards, re wiring switches and disconnecting outbuildings. It’s all been done to an exceptionally high standard by a very friendly team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lumen.

Smoke detectors etc supplied and fitted to comply with new legislation. Good advice given and job very promptly done. Electrician was polite and efficient and explained clearly how wireless system worked. We have used Lumen Electrical in the past and would recommend.

Two main jobs: replacing ancient fuse box with modern circuit breaker board; upgrading plug sockets in four rooms so that where there was previously only one there would now be two.
Tenement walls meant there were a number of surprises along the way- particularly in removing the old fuse box which appeared to have been rather 'creatively' installed. Andrew worked tirelessly from 9am to nearly 7pm, cleaning up as he went along and being unobtrusive yet friendly. Made me feel very at ease.
Found via Trusted Traders and happy to recommend onwards. Left my flat spotless and I am so pleased with the new work.

Andrew did a very good job fixing kitchen lights and also replacing a very noisy bathroom fan, as well as carrying out a general electrics check of my new flat. He is helpful and reliable and provides a high quality, reasonably priced service.

Andrew has done a number of projects for me. He’s always there when he says he will be, he always gets the job done, his work is first rate, and I trust and value his advice. Not the cheapest in town - but great value for money as he’s efficient and high quality. (And when it comes to electrical stuff we don’t want the cheapest Tom, Dick, or Harry messing around anyway). Highly recommended for all jobs - big or small, straightforward or complex.

I contacted Andrew to service the stairwell lights in our tenement block. Prompt communication via email and he came out the next morning. He was friendly and professional and did a great job. We can now see where we’re going!

I have used Lumen several times now. They have installed and relocated electric sockets, installed lights, run external electrics and linked to fuse box and other assorted work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend.

I contacted Andrew based on all the positive testimonials already on this site and am happy to say I can only concur with other reviewers. Andrew is a good communicator and is reliable, always turned up on time. He identified an issue with the supply coming into the building and gave clear and concise advice on who to contact to get the matter resolved. All of the work undertaken in the house was carried out to a high standard and invoices were issued promptly, with no surprise extras in the bills!
Highly recommended, I've had no qualms about recommending Andrew to friends

Replaced kitchen spot lights with LED sealed units. Very good quality of work and service. Cleaned up after themselves and were very helpful in doing some other smaller jobs that needed doing.

We had a couple of small jobs needing to be done - replacing an extractor fan and fixing a light fitting - and had waited in vain for a response from a previous electrician we had used. We contacted Lumen Electrical Services by email and had a very prompt response, followed by a quote for the work from Andrew. A date was arranged and the electrician - Jordan - turned up promptly and did both jobs quickly and efficiently. A courtesy call from Andrew followed later that day. We were very impressed with the customer service from Lumens and would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.
