We had wet wall, shower tray and new shower cubicle installed.

The staff came at the appointed time each day, worked with due diligence and professionalism and carried out an immaculate installation, worthy of a 5* hotel.

They cleaned everything as they went, very polite, were very smartly turned out and in the company liveried vehicle.

They were not the cheapest quote but having looked at the work done, the other companies would have been rushed to carry out the same installation in the period they anticipated. The quote was accurate to reflect the amounted time to do the job properly and well. Thank you, we are very happy.

Been let down by my previous plumber who promised to do some repairs before selling my house - he was going to replace several parts including cutting and welding a joint on the Hot Water Tank.

Decided to try Trusted Trader and Cullen were the top of the list (I did try 2 different ones). Cullen replied within 30 minutes (only ones to respond); arranged an appointment for 3 days later (arrived bang on time); had already arranged an Edinburgh Trade parking permit (most traders don't); identified and dealt with the issue within 30 minutes (including spending 10 minutes explaining and drawing diagrams to help me understand, as my previous plumber had suggested lots of repair work.) Now the system works perfectly well, AND I know why. But more importantly I know who to call if I have a problem with plumbing or heating again! And by the way, the invoice was very reasonable too.

I had a new shower fitted. Initial email was answered immediately with a quote and potential start date. Quote given was same as final bill, plumber was fantastic, arrived on date stated and was efficient, explanatory, polite, tidy and could not have been more helpful or patient.

Cullen Plumbing dealt with a relatively minor plumbing upgrade for me at a fairly reasonably price. I was impressed with the initial communication and information gathering and it was possible to book the job in without any visit beforehand. Their plumber arrived on time, did the job efficiently without leaving any mess and, without any fuss, he also dealt with an unexpected minor issue that was uncovered. This is my second time using Cullen plumbing and I highly recommend them.

Replacement of kitchen sink tap, repair to toilet cistern not functioning well. A good initial phone contact with helpful advice offered to me. Work was done on 2 different days as work needed on tap job day, to know what parts plumber should order for the cistern work.

I was happy with the early dates offered, plumber showed up as planned, work was completed as planned and plumber tidied up well after each job.

Good, prompt communication from this family company. I would use them again if I have future work and would recommend them to others.

I have used Cullen plumbing for several years on various installations and repairs. All the plumbers are friendly and efficient and always get to the job done.

After previously using this company for a small job, I was happy to contact them again when I discovered a small leak under the kitchen sink, which they dealt with promptly. Now six weeks later, we have discovered a water leak in the same area that was fixed by the plumber. On phoning we were told it would be a week before they could come out to fix it as they were busy.! And "you can't expect us to drop everything for you" - not the attitude to take if the leak is in the same place you worked on 6 weeks ago. And "put a bucket under it" - for a week - so we have to cross our fingers that we don't flood the downstairs neighbours in the mean time? Very poor customer service. Personally, as a professional, I would want to check the issue in case it was anything to do with the initial work. Any problems I have had with other plumbers, they have been quicker to respond and had a better customer attitude. Such a shame
