Have used them for putting in a full gas boiler and heating into my flat last year.

The boiler had a problem about 6months later had my letting agent to get someone in to diagnos the issue and priced of £400. I know what they said the issue was couldn't be possible along with the price. Got Corstorphine Gas in to have a look and was sorted easily and only £90 so can imagine the call to my letting agent.

Corstorphine Gas Services is now the only company to do anything with gas and plumbing.

They've also just serviced the boiler plus my own.

We had an issue with our water pressure sensor which meant we had no hot water or heating. I contacted Corstorphine Gas Services late on the Tuesday afternoon and an engineer was round on Wednesday early afternoon. The engineer who came out was brilliant, he answered all our questions and gave us additional information about our boiler and what to expect from it in the coming years. He quickly fixed the part and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Corstorphine Gas Services and will definitely be using them again!

We have used Corstorphine Gas services for the last 3 years. They do yearly checks for us, undertook a legionela test, put in a new boiler and did a full heating boiler installation. We could not recommend them strongly enough, fabulous company with guys who clearly love their jobs and take a pride in their work.

We had our boiler replaced in September 2021. We used this site, trusted trader, to draw a short list of companies.
The quote involved a survey of the house counting radiators and appliances the boiler would feed, to give a boiler of appropriate capacity, features and cost.
On the day, the team arrived at 8.20am and were all finished by 3pm, even clearing up after them.
Would unreservedly recommend.

We got a new boiler installed by CGS. They went above an beyond to get this fitted as we had no heating or hot water. They quoted me on the day I contacted them (Friday) and installed it on the Monday. They collected a key from my daughter who had to work and worked all day unsupervised. They left her a note with easy instructions how to work it and left my flat as they found it. I would have no hesitation in using this company in the future and will be taking a maintenance package with them. They are honest & very efficient. 10/10 to Lewis and his team from me!

I needed an outside tap replaced. I contacted Corstorphine Gas Services, and they were able send a plumber out the next day. He arrived when they said he would, carried out the work efficiently and tidy, and was very friendly and professional. I'll definitely be using them again for other plumbing and gas work.

A new Worcester Bosch combo boiler was fitted by Kyle and Louis from Corstorphine Gas Services (Lewis Page). The service they gave from our first meeting with Lewis to the fitting by the engineers was first class. It was fitted well within the timescale quoted. CGS Ltd replaced my boiler and radiators (the latter mostly straight replacements, but with one new electric radiator placed in a new position. Not the cheapest option, and I haven't seen all the new equipment in service over a winter, hence 4 stars for VFM and Quality of Product. However, these are not criticisms.

This is an excellent company to deal with. The customer service was first class. The quote process was clear and Lewis dealt with a number of queries via email with patience and courtesy. The installation team arrived on the agreed day and were pleasant, efficient and helpful. Based on our experience to date I shall be happily taking out a boiler service contract with this company.

One minor issue was that acceptance of the quote provided via on online system was a little strange in that the only option via that route appears to be immediate payment, which is not actually required until 7 days after all work is complete. However, an email resolved that issue quickly. And the quote was complete and transparent - absolutely no hidden extras.

Recently our Worchester boiler has had a problem, a blue light kept flashing. We called CGS, because they are specialized in repairing the Worchester boiler. We've got a very quick response. They found out the issue quickly and ordered the parts. Mike is a very kind and nice guy. By doing the annual gas safety inspection, he found the burner of our cooker was blocked partly, then he fixed it immediately. We are happy with their service and would like to give a thumb up. I phoned Corstorphine Gas Services due to no hot water. Although the problem was easily resolved, the engineer was very helpful in giving advice and guidance. The company was very quick to respond to my call and sent out an engineer the next day. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

Our not very old boiler packed up and we asked our regular gas man to come and sort it. He had no idea what to do, charged us £30 for the visit and disappeared into the night!!

Corstorphine Gas had to liaise with two people for access to the property as we were on holiday by this time. They came, identified the problem, ordered the part and arranged a return visit. They came back and carried out the work. Perfect!
We have now had them back for an annual service and Jamie identified long standing routine servicing which had not been addressed by our last two gas men.

I've been using Lewis for 4 years now and cannot fault him or any of his team on their work, attitude or value for money. Lewis has done a number of jobs for us and he personally is always smiling, always honest and never tries to rip you off and he obviously instills the same attitude in his staff. Very impressed with the professional approach and willingness to help out when there was a tight timescale due to a house sale. Attended unnocupied property next day, fixed boiler then sent a long and considered email at 9pm that evening regarding the other issue that had complications re the sale exchange date. Efficient and trouble free servicing of boiler and central heating systems for several rental properties. Engineers performed a great job and the office staff organising the work were great to communicate and do business with. Highly recommended. Will use again.

My radiators were not very warm over the winter so got these guys in to have a look. They recommended replacing the microbore pipes which have a tendency to become blocked with 15mm pipes.

The job they have done is excellent and a test run of the heating (obviously not needed just now) had the radiators piping hot.

The guys that did the work were top class leaving no mess. These guys top my list for plumbing needs in the future.

I had my gas fire seviced by Mike. He spent over an hour cleaning it out and doing various tests. He was very knowledgable and explained to me what he was doing and why. I was very impressed by how meticulouse he was, every small component part was cleaned and all the coals were brushed down. He left the place spotless. We had an outdoor tap fitted in our garage, was booked in quickly after visit re quote. The job itself didn't take long and was a reasonable cost too.

These guys were brilliant from minute one til the job was done. Lewis was out quickly to look over the job, the quote came faster than anyone else's (we had 2 cheaper quotes for lesser products but the speed here was a big influencer).

Steve and Reece were excellent on the job. Happy to do a couple of extra bits with no fuss, explained everything that was being done (I don't know the first thing...) and cleaned everything up before leaving (even though we told them not to).

There was a problem with some serious noise coming from the radiators (we'd switched from a gravity system to a pressurised one) and Steve was out at 8am the next morning to see if he could recreate the problem. Lewis was back out shortly afterwards and quickly recognised the mono-directional radiator valves were the source of the problem. Boys in the next day to replace them all at a discounted rate to me.

Special thanks to Jamie. A tiny gas leak near the meter which had sgn mark it unsafe after replacing the meter caused him a real headache. Here for about 5 hours one day and back on the Saturday morning to make sure everything was safe and get me back up and running.

Definitely worth pointing out how excellent they were on comms too. Lauren in the office had a quick response to every stupid question I had. I am definitely one of those 'pain in the backside' customers but nothing was too much trouble for her or the rest of the team.

Emergency repair to Gas Boiler when Scottish Gas were unable to provide an appointment until early June. Great service from Lauren in the office and Michael the engineer. Very professional and quick to respond, contacted them on the Monday late afternoon, engineer visited on the Tuesday morning and quickly diagnosed the problem. Parts were ordered and boiler fixed on the Wednesday afternoon. Can't thank them enough, the boiler is now safe again. Would recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Another top quality job from Lewis and his team at Corstorphine Gas Services. Our boiler was making a funny noise and we called an emergency company who advised that the fan needed replacing. I contacted Corstorphine Gas Services to get their view on it, because of the excellent service I had received previously. Mike stayed late to find the problem which was not the fan but the heat exchanger. It turns out that the companies we have had over 13 years to service our boiler hadn't bothered to do it properly!
It was an expensive repair but I had total confidence in Mike's assessment of the problem. As soon as the part came in, they juggled the diary to have it fitted 4 days earlier than planned as we were without heating during a spell of cold weather. Sure enough - part fitted and problem solved.
This is now the second time that Corstorphine Gas Services have proved more reliable and skilled than another company. I'm not going anywhere else from now on. Thanks

We had a replacement boiler fitted and from getting the quote to fitting the boiler we had a fantastic service. We were told it might take a couple of weeks for boiler to be fitted but because we had an elderly vulnerable Tennant living in property and previous boiler breaking down constantly they managed to fit it within 2 days of accepting their quote. The Tennant said they were extremely pleased with the engineer who came and and I can highly recommend this company who I will use again.

This was a tricky flue-in-void boiler replacement. Lewis and his team made a fantastic job fitting a new Baxi and took great care of coordinating all joinery and redecoration across all rooms affected.

Our boiler started leaking on a Saturday which was somewhat concerning. We contacted Corstorphine Gas to come and look at it and were really impressed with the quick and effective service provided by Lewis and Jamie; identifying the issue and getting it resolved within a couple of days.

Emergency work to repair a leak from washing machine water supply pipe.

Lewis helped with arranging access to move a washing machine, and to replace a split lead branch pipe, which was leaking causing extensive damage to properties below.
The guys turned up on time, were efficient in carrying out the required, left working area clean and tidy, and were competitively priced. They even arranged a return visit to site to ensure there were no further issues.

Had Lewis come out as ongoing issues with boiler that no other engineer picked up on so thought I would try someone different.
He informed me of the issue and cost within 24 hours, it was an older boiler and there was other problems with it. Gave costing for repair and to replace, more cost effective to replace. They still managed to get out and complete the replacement work even with the additional call outs due to the snow.

Completely replaced my old boiler, which included taking up the floor in order to change some pipes as I originally had an older system. No complaints. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived. About 5-6 months later and everything still works perfectly. Good communication, professional and reasonably priced.

We have had two boilers serviced, an issue with a dripping overflow pipe fixed and a major problem with water pressure sorted. Absolutely delighted with service. Brilliant system where you are emailed a quote which you accept online. You also receive a text on the day of your appointment so you know when the plumber is on his way. We desperately required a new combi boiler to replace our existing ageing model. When asking through friends and neighbours for recommendations for fitting, one name cropped up every time, Corstorphine Gas Services.
Contact was quick and helpful. At the site survey, Lewis took time to explain the best options and the work involved. Quote for the work was received same day and a date for fitting quickly agreed (short timescale was a godsend). Pricing was extremely competitive (National Gas companies quoting considerably more).
A pre-arrival text was received on the day of fitting and the engineers on site were polite and helpful throughout. At the end of the work, the engineer patiently explained all the controls and helped set up SMART connection - being a self-confessed technophobe, this was much appreciated!

Renovating house at the moment and needed old pipe work removed in the kitchen, living room and bathroom plus old fire place and also outside pipe work and Corstorphine Gas Services did a great job and went above and beyond what I could have hoped especially since they took away pipe work that wasn’t included in the original job but didn’t charge anymore and also took all the pipe work away for me so I didn’t have to get rid of it myself so fantastic price for the job and would recommend for anyone and good guys as well.

Old boiler broke down on a very very cold afternoon second week of January 2021 leaving me with no central heating or hot water . Despite having a British Gas Homecare agreement they could not attend for two weeks due to being fully committed but said I could invoice a suitably qualified gas engineer to do the repair . Lewis attended very promptly next day from Corstorphine Gas Services , diagnosed the issue , sourced the part , priced the work very reasonably , obtained and fitted the part the following day in a covid safe , friendly , efficient manner . We had a new boiler and two new radiators fitted. Lewis was very helpful in planning the job and the quote was very reasonable. Jamie and Cameron went the ‘extra mile ‘ when carrying out the installation and we have been really happy with how everything has worked out. They always arrived on time, they left the house spotless and we’ve been toastie warm ever since. I’d absolutely recommend and now that I’ve found them I’ll never go anywhere else again. I contacted Corstorphine Gas when my boiler started playing up. I spoke with Lauren initially who was very pleasant and professional. Took down all the details and advised she would discuss this with the engineer and would get back to me. I heard back from Lauren the same day and was booked in for a visit with Lewis the following day. Lewis arrived on time after keeping me updated, he was really helpful and explained fully what the issue was. He advised I needed a new vale and would advise me of the cost after visiting the merchant. Lewis got back to me really quickly with a very reasonable price and I was happy to go ahead. Lauren later called me back to advise the work could be completed later that day which was fantastic. Jamie returned later that day and completed the job in a timely manner with complete professionalism. Having a very young baby in the house I was understandably concerned about my malfunctioning boiler. Everyone at Corstorphine Gas understood and had my boiler back up and running in a day. Can not fault the service provided, the cost of the work and the professionalism of all I interacted with. Highly recommend Corstorphine Gas and will certainly use again in the future.
