Had a new double panel radiator fitted to replace an ageing single panel version. The difference in heat production is amazing. The whole process was excellent from initial enquiry, to receiving an estimate the following day, with fitting (which took just over an hour on the day) all completed within a week. Great service from the office team (who kept us updated on progress) and the fitters (with no mess involved). This was our first time with CGS and we will definitely use them again.

Corstorphine Gas Services completely refurbished our bathroom. We are very happy with all the work carried out. From the very first contact about the project, through ordering and fitting, the Corstorphine Gas team have given a top notch service. We were given a handover at the end of each day to say what stage was reached and what would happen the following day. All the guys cleaned up as they went along and, on completion, cleaned thoroughly.

When it became apparent the shower manufacturer had made an error with the parts it was quickly resolved by Corstorphine Gas and they managed to move their work schedule to finish our project within the week which was much appreciated.

All in all, we're delighted with our new bathroom and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Corstorphine Gas to family, friends and neighbours.

We have had a few jobs done by CGS, some small plumbing repairs but more recently a new combi boiler installation to replace the old back boiler/hot water tank. Robbie came out to assess the house and make a note of work required, the quote was then sent by email on the same day. Any further questions were answered promptly by the office staff - communication is fantastic. The work itself was messy including replacing radiators, moving radiators (so getting under floor boards), installing new boiler and removal of old waste. Following the work all mess was tidied and the house left in an acceptable condition. Although there was an electrical problem following the work, the electrical subcontractors followed this up and it was fixed before we received the final invoice. Lots of options for payment making it easy. Very happy with our new heating system, thank you.

Derek did a wonderful job unblocking 2 radiators which haven't been heating up for a while. It was a long and difficult job locating the pipework and repiping but his tenacity to get it done without having to go through the ceiling was well worth it as there was no repatching work required. At last I now have a toasty bedroom.

We have a flat that needs lots doing to it. Stage one was to remove an old green bathroom. Stage 2 was a slight extension to house a utility, rip out an old shower, WC and sink and renovate into a new bathroom space.
As ever, there were moments of pressure and bits where communication between a professional person and a layman (& wife) who are trying to balance their preferences with their budget.
But the effect has been transformational. Clear comms throughout the process; workmen with skill and personality; and an outcome that, very minor snags notwithstanding, is amazing. Looking forward to working with CGS again on a bedroom and en suite… and hoping to persuade them to do a kitchen refurb once finances allow!

We had our gas boiler repaired at our business premises. A couple of different parts needed replaced, over a couple of occasions, and a general overview. The engineers were friendly, efficient and prompt, also explained the faults clearly. Although its a busy time of year they were able to send someone out quite quickly.

Kitchen tap replaced - existing one had been dripping for months.

Discussed the different options via phone and email and agreed that I would replace the tap as it was around 20 years old.

Had a leak in the cistern - I called CGS on 22 Dec - they were fully booked but managed to fit me in the same day which was very good of them as they were closing that day for Christmas. Ultimately they came on 10 Jan to do a ‘refurb’ and did an excellent job. The boys send a message to let you know when they will be arriving which is really helpful. Both Matty & Cammy were very helpful and informative. Reliable company - would definitely recommend.

Our old boiler was 18 years old and on the way out and from the initial survey right through to quotes and installation of our new boiler they were excellent.

The boiler is in an awkward location and other companies were discussing really intrusive 4 day jobs requiring joiners whereas Corstorphine Gas managed to get the boiler installed and up and running with all the existing fittings, and at a much lower price point than competitors.

The guys that installed it were polite and friendly. We'd definitely recommend Corstorphine gas to neighbours and friends in the future.

Corstorphine Gas Services have done a lot of work for us over the years. We have always found them to be great. They have recently installed a new boiler and radiators, this was done quickly and efficiently.

I have used this company several times and they continue to impress every time. Polite staff who are very knowledgeable, clean and tidy. All communications are handled professionally and I love the fact you get a text message to confirm they are on their way. The job was done in a day with no mess. Corstorphine Gas Services are the only firm I would ever use and have recommended them to many family and friends who have gone on to use them and all been as delighted with me with their service.

Having contacted a couple of gas companies, I decided to go with CGS. I wanted to change the radiators to the old fashioned styled rib radiators. CGS came down and gave me advice on what size I needed to ensure I had maximum heat. When the men came to do the job they got straight on with it, lifting carpets, completing the job, everything put back in place, no mess and the end result looks amazing. Being a tradesman myself, it was uplifting to come back and see what great, professional job they did. The following day, the owner Lewis Page, gave the personal touch by coming to the house and checking the work and ensuring I was 100% satisfied. Fantastic service and would definitely recommend.

I noticed the valves at the bottom of my heated towel rail in the bathroom had a small leak. I called Corstorphine Gas Services and they said they could send someone out that day to look at it. I got a text message to say the engineer was on his way and he arrived at the time the message stated. He was very pleasant, identified the issue and replaced the heater valves. He didn’t leave until he had checked the leak had stopped both when the heating was on and off. I was very satisfied with the service I received and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend and would use them again in future.

New combi boiler fitted. We appreciated the speed at which CGS went into action after our old boiler was ruled unsafe with cold weather fast approaching! From Mitch the initial visitor to Stevie the fitter and the staff in the office all went smoothly and we were kept informed throughout. This is the second time we have CGS, earlier this year our central heating started failing, they assessed what was required and fixed it in a timely manner. So when we required an annual service it was a no brainer. Mitch arrived on time and got straight to work, he was extremely thorough, in fact at one time I thought there was a problem. I think this was the first time it was properly service, despite being supported by a well known national company.

Sudden breakdown of our oil fired boiler but Corstorphine Gas Services managed to get an engineer to us within a couple of days, despite the high demand due to the recent cold snap.
Their engineer was on time, courteous, professional and got my boiler operating within 15 minutes from walking in the door. Excellent service and great communication.

My heating system failed due to a faulty control switch, I could not get my regular engineer to come out for another 10days .With the extremely cold weather at the time I tried Corstorphine who sent an engineer within 36 hours and the switch was replaced resulting in the heating operating normally. Excellent service !!!!

My problem was a cold draught coming in from the wall behind my sink and dishwasher, which are below my kitchen window. I have electric heating in my flat. I have to highly praise Corstorphine Gas Services Limited for their help to resolve the problem. Robbie the Plumber, and John the Joiner, removed all the fixtures, fitted a frame and fitted an insulation board then reinstalled everything back to normal in one day. The wall in question was cracked and had holes in it which allowed cold air to flow into my kitchen! I cannot praise both Robbie and John enough, for their excellent, professional, and clean working to resolve my problem. All done with good humour and a smile. It will be a pleasure from now on to be standing at my sink! Top marks to an excellent Edinburgh firm. Everything was 1st class.

Existing mains shower and enclosure/base, and wet wall were removed. They were successfully removed without damaging the ceiling or floor tiles by the fabulous Cammie and his lovely apprentice Louis. I was over the moon with their skills and knowledge, and efficiency. They successfully installed new replacement products and worked tirelessly with Nick the tiler (absolute quality)!!! Talk about tidy! You'd never know there was any work being done!!! All rubbish and every grain of dust was removed by hoovering!!! Thank goodness I was introduced to Corstorphine Gas! They did this work because the wet wall was leaking into the kitchen cupboards below! It's important to add that Cammie worked hard to also reinforce the floor before fitting the new shower base. Removal of bath, wash hand basin, toilet & tiles from walls (there was a total of 3 layers!). Installed wet walls, walk-in shower, wash hand basin, toilet & new flooring. All rubbish was removed and when bathroom was finished it was left in clean and tidy. Communication was excellent from office staff down to Robbie (plumber) & Adam (work experience) and John (joiner). I have to say that Robbie was good at explaining what would happen the next day. He also installed new towel rail, cabinet, and other accessories for us too. Cannot fault his work ethic.

My brother had used Corstorphine Gas to get his toilet installed and my niece has now arranged for them to do hers in February next year. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Have used Corstorphine Gas Services on several occasions and Courtney is always very helpful in trying to get an engineer out asap. We had a faulty thermostat /boiler and Shaun attended and he was very knowledgeable and competent. The fault was rectified quickly. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Completely satisfied with service provided. The two engineers who carried out the work arrived at time indicated and were courteous, capable and professional in their approach. They left us feeling confident that the system was working efficiently and safely. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time I have used Corstorphine Gas Services and both times they have been excellent.
This time I called them out to fix a faulty boiler. They came out the following day, at the time they said they would. Shawn was very professional and very knowledgeable. He identified the problem quickly and the fault was solved very efficiently!

Response to initial call was great - the plumber was in our house within a few hours. Our boiler had been gaining pressure and leaking water. This was fixed within the initial visit but a couple of longer term safety issues were also identified. An appointment was made to address these within a few working days and all works were completed on that visit. Staff were courteous and left the site clean and tidy. I highly recommend this company
