Business Information
With over 30 years experience in the Domestic Appliance Industry, I started my career with an Edinburgh firm, ACE Domestic Appliances. After 10 years service I moved to work with National Homecare (Servis UK) and was approached by Alan Wallace, of Wallace’s Domestic Appliances to take a position with his reputable company.
Having worked 18 years with Wallace’s I have now branched out to set up my own company, BR Domestic Appliance Specialist, based in Midlothian – covering Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Called Billy as my elderly Mother's oven caught on fire and I hoped it was fixable. Billy turned up the very next day as agreed and resolved the issue straight away. Source of the issue was fat on the grill element. There was absolutely no overselling, replacement of parts that were not required etc, Billy simply burnt off the fat and the oven is back to fully working.
A very honest and dependable service I will certainly be using again.

My washing machine wasn't working so phoned Billy from BR Domestic Appliance Repair Specialist on the Wednesday and he arranged to come the next day. He came on time, repaired the machine no problem and tested everything was working properly. Price was as quoted and very reasonable. Billy was a genuine, friendly man and I'd definitely recommend him! Great service!

AO delivered and were supposed to install. The "engineer" told my wife it wouldn't fit and took the machine away telling us to buy an Indesit. I phoned Billy and was told a Hotpoint is the same as Indesit. He came as soon as my machine was returned and fitted it at 50% less than the other guy. First class.

What can I say that hasn't been said already. Billy is a first class guy and I would happily recommend him to anyone. I needed the digital clock on my range cooker repaired. After my initial enquiry Billy arrived to see the problem. He advised on what was needed and some parts had to be ordered. Once they arrived Billy returned to carry out the repair. I have admire his determination to get the unit fitted and working. Many thanks Billy.

Called late Wednesday and he came 9am Thursday. Looked at job gave us advice without hastle advised us on best things about our problem. He then carried out all work to a very satisfactory conclusion. We would have no hesitation on using this company again.

This man deserves all the 5 star ratings! He answered my enquiry very quickly and was able to carry out my repair the very next day. Friendly, knew what he was doing, had the parts already, efficient and got the job done. Very happy indeed and will definitely use again. He repairs ovens, dishwashers, washing machines and so on. I was very impressed by Billy's speed of response to my request for services. He was upfront about the cost of him coming to look at the jobs and the additional costs that might be incurred to do the repairs. The jobs were carried out in a quick and professional manner. Now I have a gas oven light working, an unblocked fridge condenser and a quieter more efficient hob extractor fan. I am very satisfied and have recommended him to friends.

Great service. Billy got back to me very quickly after I messaged and came out promptly next day keeping in touch to let me know he was on his way.
Gave me a very reasonable quote, went off to get required parts and was back within the hour. Job done. New dishwasher installed. He even took time to advise on how to use it for best results and said to contact him if any issues.
Definitely would use again.
