I have used this service twice now and found Billy reliable and courteous.

My Dyson had broken down and was making a weird flapping popping noise.. 2 days later on my way back from a shop on day19 of lockdown I saw Billy’s van in a nearby street... I asked him advice .... he picked up my Dyson 30 mins later from outside my flat and brought it back serviced, parts replaced and repaired by 11am the next morning - prob 24 hours tops From start to finish...

Had been highly recommended by another company who do not cover call outs in the Rutherford, West Linton Area. Although had a busy day ahead Billy was able to call at lunch time and fix the problem with my oven, having made the phone call earlier in the morning.

Billy fitted uninstalled and fitted a new washing machine for me. The first one delivered was unfortunately broken and Billy was quick to identify the problem and was kind enough to come the following day to fit the replacement.

I got my oven repaired a year ago, I came back to leave a review because this guy is just awesome. He worked within my time constrains and he had the part in his van. I also liked his "no nonsense" attitude. Totally recommended.

Really happy with the service provided by Billy. Phoned initially and discussed what was needed to fix our oven. Billy ordered the part, told me exactly the price, arrived when he said, pleasant and professional and I would certainly contact him again for any domestic appliance repairs if needed. Definitely recommend.

Billy came when he said he would (the next day in the morning) and sorted out our washing maching with a minimum of fuss. He is a pleasant person who clearly knows just what he is doing. Would not hesitate to use again.

After a lengthy search, without success during this pandemic, to find a domestic appliance specialist to repair our washer-dryer, we discovered Billy Rutherford, BRDomestic Appliance Repair Specialist, in Trusted Traders List we telephoned on 13 April and he came promptly the following day. He was well-prepared and well-equipped in view of the current restrictions and carried out the necessary repairs quickly and efficiently. We would not hesitate to call upon him again in the future and would highly recommend the service he provides.

We had a small emergency as our main oven broke. We contacted Billy as he was recommended to us by our next door neighbour.

His response to our call was dealt with extremely quickly and in a professional manner. He called before arriving at our home and was friendly and kitted out in his PPE clothing.

Phoned in morning came in afternoon. Explained what was wrong and fixed it. Dishwasher fine now . Good job would certainly recommend.

Removal of semi integrated dishwasher and fitting of free standing dishwasher . Disconnecting washing machine and installing new machine.
Billy was prompt . The removal of old dishwasher was more complicated than first thought. Billy completed the job - cut the plynth to fit .

The oven part of my mums cooker had stopped working. She's 89 and partially sighted so I wanted to get it sorted as soon as possible with someone trustworthy who had been vetted and had lots of good feedback. I called and got Billy at 10am who was straightforward and clear about his costs and next steps. He'd been round, discovered it was the element that needed replacing, had the part in his van so fixed it there and then and it was all done by 2pm, fantastic! Highly recommended and reasonably priced too.

I rang Billy on Friday afternoon and he came out first thing on Saturday. He assessed the problem with our oven and ordered the part that was needed. He kept us up to date on the expected delivery time of the part and rang us as soon as it arrived. He was then able to install it first thing the next day. He was great at keeping us informed, arrived on time and worked quickly. Very happy with this service and will be using again.

Great reliable service. I asked Billy to replace the seal on my washing machine as it had become mouldy. Billy arrived when he said he would and replaced this in no time at all, with a genuine part. He also gave me advice on how to prevent this happening in future.

Billy responded to my washing machine SOS within a couple of hours. After discussion, it was obvious that a repair would not be cost effective. During this time Billy demonstrated a sound knowledge and understanding of his Craft, patience and, above all, no pressure was put on me.

Billy removed the old integrated washing machine and installed the new freestanding one. A first class job and worthy of 5+ stars!! I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm.
