Business Information
With over 30 years experience in the Domestic Appliance Industry, I started my career with an Edinburgh firm, ACE Domestic Appliances. After 10 years service I moved to work with National Homecare (Servis UK) and was approached by Alan Wallace, of Wallace’s Domestic Appliances to take a position with his reputable company.
Having worked 18 years with Wallace’s I have now branched out to set up my own company, BR Domestic Appliance Specialist, based in Midlothian – covering Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Billy replaced the ripped seal on my washing machine. Booked in very quickly and job done. Advice given to prevent issue recurring. Very professional service. I will use again if I have any domestic appliance issues.

I had a visit by Billy to help with my washing machine. He had a look and told me I could replace my appliance or the part that was faulty, although both alternatives would be expensive. He then went on to say how I could get more life out of my appliance without expense. I am a great believer in "The Extra Mile" in customer care and Billy certainly did that. Plus, he is a piper!

Really pleased with the service from Billy, he called me promptly to discuss the problem, outlined what the cost would be in advance and came the next day at the time when he said he would.
He fixed the issue with my washing machine and explained thoroughly what the issue was. Would really recommend for reliable, good value for money and friendly service.

The dishwasher hose was chewed by mice. Billy came at short notice, fitted a replacement hose along with a protective mesh net which should prevent the problem recurring.

Billy was a saviour! My oven broke the 3 days before Christmas and after ringing around a couple of places unsuccessfully, I thought Christmas was cancelled. One of them then recommended trying Billy as he was local to me, and luckily he fitted me in and was brilliant. He explained everything he was doing, everything that needed doing and laid out the costs before proceeding.

Billy repaired my washing machine motor. He was able to diagnose the problem and repair it on the spot. Saved a few hundred pound from not needing to buy a new machine. Clean tidy worker. Fast and efficient. Very nice friendly guy. Highly recommend him. I found his name on a local network Facebook page.

Billy replaced a broken grill element on our AEG oven - essentially did what he said right from the initial contact. Stayed in touch, turned up when he said and fixed the issue quickly and then charged less !!!! First time to write a review but he deserves the full 5. Very good service.

My elderly frail mother had a problem with her washing machine . I am remote from my mother but asked BR Domestic Appliance Specialist Billy to go and have a look. He was considerate and respectful of my mother and both she and myself were delighted with his response and clarity. I would have no hesitation in using him again and would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs the help of an appliance specialist

Billy was able to come out the next day and was right on time.
He explained what was wrong with our machine, how much it would cost and asked if I wanted to proceed.
He worked quickly and was done within an hour.
It actually cost less than he estimated as he didn't have to replace one part.
