Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Scottish Borders.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF, Gas Safe and OFTEC registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, and Which giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.
Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating Ltd are Baxi and Viessmann approved and Worcester -Bosch accredited installers. Our engineers have experience in servicing, repairing and installing all of the leading boiler manufacturers equipment.
Our engineers have experience working on Domestic and Commercial plumbing and heating projects. Other services we provide are Drain unblocking, heat pump servicing and Installation. We carry out anything from boiler services to boiler installations or small leaks to bathroom installations. No job is to big or to small for us.
With our organised appointment booking system and detailed quotes we aim to provide customers with a top quality service from you initial enquiry to the completion of the work.

We had a problem with our hot water. Allied Trade Plumbers dispatched a plumber, Colin to us within a few hours and resolved the issue quickly and got us sorted. Very impressed with the service and Colin was great. Thanks.

I used this business for an emergency call out at 4am on a Sunday morning. I cannot fault the service received. From calling to arrival less than 30 mins. Leak stopped in minutes.

Phoned and got a response the same day. And from this an appointment for a worker to visit to assess the heating system issue. The cost was clearly set out during this conversation and a back up email with details.
The worker was friendly and professional. Keeping us involved as to what he was doing to check out why the heating system is not working as it should. And at end gave us his assessment of the issue. Pleased with the service and would recommend.

Thank you to Colin who resolved our toilet awkwardly positioned drain pipe leak issue in a very timely manner after other plumbers were not willing to help.
We were also really impressed with the swift communications by the office team throughout the process.
We would not hesitate to use these services in future and will certainly recommend to others.

Had a leak in the ceiling from the upstairs bathroom. Allied Trade identified where the leak was coming from and relaced the faulty fitting in less than an hour. Their work was excellent, tidy and clean. Would definitely use them again.

Engineer turned up on time. Well presented, very polite and good manners. He went straight to work and completed the work (Gas safety Inspection) in about an hour. Would strongly recommend Allied trade and Plumbing ltd.

We have recently moved into a new flat and found corrosion problems in the central heating system. When Cameron came to review the job we had a useful discussion and he was able to propose additional works to get the heating system into a "new condition". The work was done in two phases and on both occasions the personnel arrived within the advised period, were tidy and did the work efficiently and carefully. The job was finished within the schedule advised. When it was necessary to phone the office about the job the staff on each occasion new about the job and were able to agree planning and advise status.

I live in a rental and my boiler broke this morning. My landlord pays for a homecare plan but the earliest appointment I could get was Thursday 4th March despite no hot water and heating. After a recommendation I gave the company a call and Cameron was round once he’d finished his other job, and the boiler was fixed within an hour. Managed to get all the relevant paperwork too so my landlord can hopefully claim it back from the other company.

Allied Trade have just completed work on our drainage system. All members of the team (owner, engineers, office staff) were extremely helpful and professional. They liaised with Building Standards to ensure the work carried out passed all requirements, giving us peace of mind. All costs were explained up front - there were no hidden costs. Work was completed within the time frame stated to a high standard. They left the site tidy at the end of each working day. We used Allied for this job as they installed our bathroom a few years back and we were very happy with their work then, so went back to them as we knew we could trust them. Very happy! We will definitely use this company again, and recommend them to others.

Could not recommend them enough. We had a blocked drain and flooded bathroom which we needed an emergency call our for. Grahame arrived swiftly and dealt with the issue at hand. Very professional and friendly team, would definitely use again.
