Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating was established by Cameron Burt in 2002 as a sole trader and in 2014 became a limited company. We are based in Midlothian, covering Edinburgh, The Lothians and Scottish Borders.
Our team of Gas engineers are fully qualified, SNIPEF, Gas Safe and OFTEC registered. We are proudly endorsed by Edinburgh Trusted Trader, and Which giving customers a view of the high standard of work we provide.
Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating Ltd are Baxi and Viessmann approved and Worcester -Bosch accredited installers. Our engineers have experience in servicing, repairing and installing all of the leading boiler manufacturers equipment.
Our engineers have experience working on Domestic and Commercial plumbing and heating projects. Other services we provide are Drain unblocking, heat pump servicing and Installation. We carry out anything from boiler services to boiler installations or small leaks to bathroom installations. No job is to big or to small for us.
With our organised appointment booking system and detailed quotes we aim to provide customers with a top quality service from you initial enquiry to the completion of the work.

My air source pump had a possible water flow issue. Causing both heating and hot water issues.
After a first appointment the problem was identified. A price given with a break down of this.
Arrived on the day within the time agreed. The worker kept us involved in what they were doing to sort this long standing issue out.
I consider I received a professional and friendly service. And would recommend.
And the air source heat pump system is working as it should.

My sister discovered a leak at her house and Allied were first company that picked up on Trusted Trader for an emergency call out. Efficient and helpful from the outset, the engineers (Liston and Keiren) came within the first half our of the 2.5 hour window we were given and they got straight to it. They sorted the initial leak quickly and well, then checked for and found two others - which weren't immediately obvious - also fixing those efficiently and well, and in less than ideal circumstances. Friendly, efficient, and tidy professionals. Costs were very reasonable and were as indicated at the outset. Would definitely use again, and am very happy and willing to recommend.

I used this company before, for the annual boiler service with a minor fault repair and some part replacement. At that time I was extremely happy with the service provided. This time it was an emergency call. I must say that the engineer ( Grant) is a star. Very kind, polite, tidy but also knowledgable and proffesional. Always explains in simple way what is being done. I can highly recommend Allied Trade Plumbing:)

Leak in central heating system, located in chimney breast. Repair and reinstatement was fast and efficient. I would highly recommend this company and will use them whenever I need a plumber or heating engineer.

Allied were called out to give a second opinion on a boiler fault. They provided a very efficient service.Arrived on time and explained all works being checked.Although the boiler was serviced less than a fortnight ago they uncovered various faults and highlighted items that had been omitted from the so called service.
A detailed report and costs for repairs was in my inbox within an hour.

One year ago my gas central heating boiler was replaced. My boiler at the time had packed up while we were away and I returned to the house to find it was not working. Allied Trade came at very short notice on a Saturday morning and by the following Tuesday the new boiler was installed. The work was conducted in a very professional and tidy manner. I have just had the boiler serviced by Allied Trade, the work was carried out in the same professional and tidy manner. I would not hesitate in recommending Allied Trade as a company you can trust.

Had two chaps from Allied round to re-hang two radiators on the wall and re-pressurise the system. They discovered a few other problems along the way and managed to fix them too. Great service, would definitely use again.

Excellent company to do any plumbing. Very professional and reliable. Have used this company twice now on servicing/fixing a electric combie boiler to a small job of a broken toilet flush handle. Turn up on time, have the expertise to fix the problem when their on site. Strongly recommend.

Excellent service all round. From initial visit re quote through to conclusion of works.... prompt, courteous, tidy. All old material removed. Competitively priced. Company recommended by two dog walking friends who had used recently. No hesitation in using again for any future heating/plumbing requirements.

We had no heating or hot water with a baby in the house. Allied were able to attend the same day doing a temp repair and then attended at a date to suit us to fit a new part to the boiler! Very good customer service! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic ensuite refurb by the Allied team. They were helpful & responsive, even from before the job started.
So clean and tidy while on the job, you wouldn't know they'd been there when they left each evening.
Great attention to detail which I really appreciated, as did the tiler they sub-contracted.
Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to refresh their bathroom. Worth every penny
